TiK Theater Im Keller | Schedule & Tickets
The TiK Theater in the cellar is a staple in the Bonn district of Duisdorf and has been part of the cultural life in Bonn-Hardtberg for decades. It evolved from a VHS course in the late 1960s into a regular theater operation, which found a permanent home in 1974 in the building of today's vocational college on Rochusstraße. Since 2005, the venue has been operated and organized as a club stage. This mix of amateur theater, long-standing continuity, and a lovingly intimate atmosphere makes the TiK so appealing to users looking for schedules, tickets, photos, or reviews. ([locom.net](https://locom.net/theater-im-keller/?utm_source=openai))
Those searching for the location will not find a large multipurpose building but a small theater with a very personal character. The TiK is described on external profiles as a place with nostalgic flair and is categorized by its own site and event portals as a stage for comedies, dramas, cabaret, thrillers, and revues. This is attractive for visitors because the search intent is often clear even before purchasing tickets: they want to know what is playing, how to get there, where to park, and whether the intimate atmosphere fits the desired evening. The TiK provides the right signals to answer these questions. ([rausgegangen.de](https://rausgegangen.de/en/locations/theater-im-keller/))
Schedule and Current Productions
The official program page of the TiK clearly shows what the house stands for: a varied repertoire of monologues, dialogues, comedies, literary adaptations, and the famous in-house revue. Among others, there are productions like Life Signs, The Bear & The Marriage Proposal, Love Letters, Welcome to Your Life, Golden Girls, The Zoo Story, Riverside Drive, ART, and Moving Times. This selection makes it clear that the theater consciously oscillates between cheerful, quirky, dramatic, and contemplative. This is important for SEO searches because many interested parties are not only looking for the name of the location but also for specific pieces, current performance dates, or terms like program, schedule, and event. ([tik-bonn.de](https://www.tik-bonn.de/stuecke.html?0=&utm_source=openai))
Additionally, the description of the house on event portals shows that performances at the TiK take place on two stages and that guest artists also perform alongside the resident ensemble. The mix of its own repertoire and guests is a strong unique selling point, as it gives the small house an astonishingly wide range. This profile works, as evidenced by the theater's regular appearances in the Bonn Theater Night and local cultural announcements. For search queries like 37 Postcards or Welcome to Your Life, it is important to understand: The TiK is not an anonymous event machine but a stage that carefully selects its productions and presents them with a strong connection to the audience. This personal touch ensures that even a small evening in the cellar becomes a special cultural moment for many people. ([rausgegangen.de](https://rausgegangen.de/en/locations/theater-im-keller/))
Tickets, Advance Sales, and Box Office
Those looking for tickets for the TiK Theater in the cellar will find a classic and straightforward structure on the official site. Tickets are available in advance through Image, bonnticket, and several ticket offices in Bonn. Among others, the General-Anzeiger, the concert and theater box office in Kaufhof, Mr. Music, Bücher-Bosch, and the Paris Ticket Store are mentioned. For remaining tickets, the theater refers to the box office and requests inquiries in advance at the theater box office. This is relevant for seekers because the keywords tickets, box office, advance sale, and evening box office often appear together and can be answered clearly here. ([tik-bonn.de](https://www.tik-bonn.de/karten.html?0=&utm_source=openai))
It is also practical that the TiK not only offers an online or advance sale solution but also keeps contact open via phone and email. The official contact page lists the phone number 0228 6200176 and the email address anfragen@tik-bonn.de. An event profile also provides opening hours for visiting times: Friday and Saturday from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Sunday from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with entry half an hour before the start. These values are especially helpful for planning, even though they can vary depending on the event. For SEO and user guidance, such details are valuable because they can quickly turn a pure search query for tickets into a real visit decision. ([tik-bonn.de](https://www.tik-bonn.de/kontakt.html?0=&utm_source=openai))
Directions to TiK Theater in the cellar in Bonn-Duisdorf
The TiK is located at Rochusstraße 30 in 53123 Bonn, directly in the vicinity of the Bonn-Duisdorf vocational college. This location is important for orientation because many visitors first locate the theater through the school or the address of Rochusstraße. The official contact page of the vocational college lists the address and the stops that provide good access to the location: Bus lines 608, 609, 800, and 845 go to Rochusstr. / Federal Ministries, and the S23 goes to Helmholtzstraße. Thus, traveling by public transport is the clearly best-supported information from the available sources. ([berufskolleg-bonn-duisdorf.de](https://berufskolleg-bonn-duisdorf.de/schule/kontakt?utm_source=openai))
For search queries like directions or Bonn-Duisdorf, it is also important that the theater is located in Hardtberg and not in the city center. This gives it its special character: not a large city theater but a local cultural stage in a school and residential environment that one targets specifically. Therefore, anyone wanting to visit the TiK should not confuse the directions with a city center location but use the public transport information from the vocational college and plan some time for the walk from the stop. This makes the journey relaxed and fits well with an evening designed in a small format and with closeness to the audience. ([berufskolleg-bonn-duisdorf.de](https://berufskolleg-bonn-duisdorf.de/schule/kontakt?utm_source=openai))
Parking around Rochusstraße 30
When it comes to the keyword parking, one thing is especially important for this location: none of the verified official sources mention a dedicated visitor parking lot. Therefore, it is better not to promise too much regarding parking availability but to answer realistically. Since the theater is located at Rochusstraße 30 directly next to the vocational college and the public transport connections are well documented, arriving by bus or train remains the most reliable option. However, if you come by car, it would be wise to allow some time to search for public parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. This assessment is a justified derivation from the available location information and not an artificially invented service claim. ([berufskolleg-bonn-duisdorf.de](https://berufskolleg-bonn-duisdorf.de/schule/kontakt?utm_source=openai))
This is exactly where the search interest in parking at smaller venues is so relevant: visitors want to know in advance whether they can arrive stress-free and whether the evening starts with a parking search or not. For the TiK, there is much to suggest planning early, checking the public transport route, and allowing additional minutes for driving. This also fits the character of the location, as the theater does not thrive on rapid mass flows but on a calm, personal visiting experience. So, anyone who wants to be on the safe side should rely on the stops around Rochusstraße when traveling and enjoy the short walk to the theater instead of a hectic parking round. ([berufskolleg-bonn-duisdorf.de](https://berufskolleg-bonn-duisdorf.de/schule/kontakt?utm_source=openai))
History, Ensemble, and Special Atmosphere
The history of the TiK is closely linked to Bonn and volunteer theater engagement. Several sources consistently report that everything began in the late 1960s as a community college course, that the group performed in the cellar of the vocational college on Rochusstraße from 1974, and that the house has been operated since 2005 under the free sponsorship of an association. Bonn sources also highlight that the theater will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2024. The Wikipedia description adds that the TiK operates as an amateur theater with its own stage, is funded through ticket sales, membership fees, and donations, and has shown around 40 performances per year over the years. This makes the stage a long-term cultural address with real local anchoring. ([locom.net](https://locom.net/theater-im-keller/?utm_source=openai))
Particularly defining is the combination of a small space, two stages, and a versatile repertoire. According to its own description, the TiK shows comedies, thrillers, cabaret, dramas, and revues and is described on event pages as a place with nostalgic flair. During the Bonn Theater Night, it was even characterized as a nostalgic small salon theater, which summarizes the impression very well: the house is not a large prestigious building but a theater where closeness, atmosphere, and personal commitment count. This mix also explains why the TiK is interesting for people looking for photos or reviews. Those who want to see in advance whether the style appeals to them are not only looking for the piece but also for mood, space, and feeling. The TiK provides a clear impression on this level: intimate, traditional, and consciously different from the large Bonn houses. ([rausgegangen.de](https://rausgegangen.de/en/locations/theater-im-keller/))
Photos and Reviews Before the Visit
Search queries for photos and reviews are particularly meaningful for a small theater address like the TiK because they help assess the atmosphere in advance. The available descriptions paint a picture of a stage with nostalgic flair, two performance areas, and a very personal character. This is exactly why images are so important for many interested parties: they want to see how close the stage is to the audience, how the space feels, and whether the location appears more cozy, festive, or simple. At the TiK, it is clear from the sources that the character is intentionally intimate and does not rely on large show areas. ([rausgegangen.de](https://rausgegangen.de/en/locations/theater-im-keller/))
The review topics also fit this profile. Those searching for reviews often want to know not only if a piece is good but whether the overall package is right: access, proximity to the stage, program variety, and atmosphere in the house. The TiK fulfills this mix precisely because it has relied on artistic continuity, volunteer engagement, and a varied repertoire for decades. Combined with the visible program titles, the long history, and the clear location in Bonn-Duisdorf, a venue emerges that is especially exciting for people who enjoy experiencing theater in close proximity and with a personal touch. Therefore, for the search for photos, reviews, and an evening with character, the TiK is a very fitting address. ([tik-bonn.de](https://www.tik-bonn.de/stuecke.html?0=&utm_source=openai))

Wow, it's impressive what this little theater puts on stage. The name says it all; it's a small theater in a basement with a separate, beautifully themed bistro area. We went with a small group to see the performance "Welcome to Your Life" and we were blown away. After the show, you have the chance to meet some of the actors in the bistro. For parking, the parking lot in front of the "Berufskolleg Bonn-Duisdorf" gymnasium is a good option. We had a wonderful evening and I'm happy to recommend this hidden gem.

We've been to the Tik three times now and are always thrilled by the acting. Most recently on May 4th, 2025, we saw "Welcome to Your Life," a comedy with depth and a truly excellent ensemble. Highly recommended!

A fantastic experience: The theater space is very lovingly arranged, although a better interplay of actors would have been desirable. The amateur actors gave their all: skill, passion, and imagination. The various contemporary events were portrayed with a high degree of recognizability. We were/are thrilled and would love to come back.
