Tanzhaus Bonn | Program & Parking

The Tanzhaus Bonn is much more than just a classic dance school. It is a dance and event house that combines learning, leisure, community, and atmosphere. In the Vilicher Arkaden in Bonn-Vilich, a versatile course concept meets a well-accessible location, spacious rooms, an active dance floor, and a clear service philosophy. Those looking for programs, parking, address, app, weddings, dance parties, or offers for singles will find a house designed for different life phases and dance goals. The offerings range from couple courses to single and wedding courses, as well as children’s, youth, and fitness formats. The official website describes the house as a place for flexible scheduling, daily course options, and a modern teaching concept supported by ADTV dance instructors. This mix makes Tanzhaus Bonn so interesting for many visitors: it is professionally solid, practically organized, and at the same time a place with a lounge area, rooftop terrace, and event character. Current Program, Dance Parties, and New Year's Eve 2025

The program of Tanzhaus Bonn is broad and addresses different target groups. The official course program includes couples, dance singles, wedding courses, discofox, Latin dances, west coast swing, Argentine tango, line dance, Zumba fitness, solo dance for adults, paradance, easy fit, kids club, Zumba kids, breakdance, youth standard/Latin, solo dance for youth, and Zumba teens. This variety is no coincidence but part of the concept: Tanzhaus Bonn aims to offer not just a single course but a continuous system where new content and new times can be flexibly combined. For many guests, this is precisely the appeal. One does not have to wait for a single appointment but can attend different levels and dance styles almost daily. The active dance floor further supports this approach, as free practice and repetition are part of the lessons and not treated as exceptions. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Programmheft-2024_2025.pdf))

Special program highlights include regular events that transform the everyday life of a dance school into a real event house. At the open house day for children in 2025, free workshops, participation activities, and performances were announced; for adults, there were also free insights, workshops, and a champagne reception. For 2026, the open house day on January 25, 2026, was announced as an open program with workshops for couples, singles, teens, and adults, complemented by a dance party in the afternoon. New Year's Eve also plays an important role in the house's calendar: A party was communicated for December 31, 2025, from 8:30 PM to about 2:00 AM, with live music from the Starlight Band, a standard and Latin party with dance teacher DJs, and several dance floors. In February 2026, there will also be a themed dance party for Carnival, where participants can dance to carnival hits. This shows that the program is not just lessons but also social experiences, from workshops to long dance nights. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/tanzen-kurse/tag_der_offenen_tuer_kinder/?utm_source=openai))

For those looking for a place where dance, music, and encounters alternate, Tanzhaus Bonn offers a very lively program. The official communication shows that standard and Latin dances, social dance formats, and themed parties are not thought of separately. Instead, they interconnect: Those who learn something in the course can apply it directly on the active dance floor or at a dance party. This practical reference is crucial for many visitors because dancing does not remain theoretical but immediately transitions into movement, routine, and experience. For this reason, the program is attractive not only for regular guests but also for people looking for an entry point or wanting to try out an open house day first. Address, Directions, and Parking in Bonn-Vilich

The official address of Tanzhaus Bonn is Gerhardstraße 1 in 53225 Bonn; sources also refer to the former street name Gartenstraße 102. The house is located in the Vilicher Arkaden directly on the federal highway 56, and the Vilich tram stop of line 66 is located opposite. This location is practical for visitors as it is easily accessible by both car and public transport. According to the FAQ, the rooms of the dance house extend over the entire 2nd floor of the building complex. The entrance is located to the left of a bakery, and an elevator is available. Orientation and arrival are well taken care of, even if navigation systems may still operate with the former street name according to the official site. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/faq/))

Parking is particularly important for many guests, and here too, Tanzhaus Bonn provides very concrete information. Customers have access to free parking spaces directly in front of the house as well as additional free spaces on the other side of the street as Park & Ride. There is automatic license plate recognition, daily 3 hours of free parking, and unlimited parking time from 9 PM until early morning. The FAQ also points out that if one enters before 6 PM and stays longer, they should exit and re-enter the parking lot if they exceed the free time. Together with the over 200 free parking spaces mentioned in the course program, this is a strong argument for guests who want to arrive without searching for parking. Especially during evening events, dance parties, or a long course evening, this parking regulation is a noticeable advantage. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/faq/))

The opening hours are also helpful for planning. According to the contact page, Tanzhaus Bonn is open Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. This fits the character of the house as a place for afternoon and evening programs. So, if one is planning a course, a party, a training session, or a consultation appointment, they can flexibly combine their visit with the day. The combination of a central location, proximity to the train station, elevator, free parking spaces, and long opening hours makes the journey uncomplicated and reduces the typical hurdles that often arise at event locations in cities for many guests. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/kontakt/?utm_source=openai))

App, Member Area, and Flexible Booking

A central theme at Tanzhaus Bonn is digital and flexible organization. The official FAQ explains that each member receives a membership card in credit card format and digitally in the online member area. This card can also be used for cashless payment if activation at the bar has been arranged. For drinks and food, the consumption bill is settled via direct debit; typically, it is debited twice a month, and there is a text overview via email according to the FAQ. Additionally, customers receive a discount on the gastronomy assortment when paying with the membership card according to the official website. This shows that the member area is not just a login but part of a well-thought-out service and comfort system. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/faq/))

The app reference is also clearly visible on the website. In the summer program 2025, all courses for members were made free and bookable in the member area, that is, in the app, under the respective program point. Additional offers such as intensive courses are also referred to for booking through the member area. Thus, the app primarily serves two purposes: it acts as a booking platform and as a customer area for internal information and reservations. For guests looking for the term customer app, this is relevant because the official site does not use the app as a gimmick but as a practical tool for course management. Especially with changing weekly programs, special courses, and summer offers, this digital level is sensible as it supports the scheduling flexibility of the house. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/2025/07/04/sommerprogramm-2025/))

The flexible booking logic runs through almost the entire offering. Tanzhaus Bonn advertises a flexible course system where one can choose between all seven days of the week. No reservation is required on the active dance floor; guests can simply drop by. For members, there is the option to book or repeat courses as needed, and in the summer program, even day tickets for non-members were offered so they could participate for individual days. This mix of digital booking, flexible durations, and clear on-site structure makes the house attractive for modern users who do not have the same time slot every week. So, those looking for an app, member area, or customer-friendly booking will find a coherent overall system here. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Programmheft-2024_2025.pdf))

Weddings, Private Lessons, and Couple Courses

For many visitors, Tanzhaus Bonn is particularly interesting when a special occasion is approaching. The official website explicitly describes wedding courses that teach the most important dances for celebrations and social events. The focus is on slow waltz, Viennese waltz, and discofox, precisely those dances needed at many weddings, balls, and celebrations. The course concept is aimed at couples who want to prepare for a specific date, but also at people who generally want to feel more confident on the dance floor. According to the official site, there are two variants: a crash course over 4 x 60 minutes for 59 euros and a dance month including flex service for 79.90 euros per person. The flex service is particularly interesting as it allows participation in different courses depending on time and need. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/tanzen-kurse/hochzeit/?utm_source=openai))

Additionally, Tanzhaus Bonn offers private lessons. The official site explains that these lessons help to prepare quickly for a wedding or a ball. A single lesson lasts 60 minutes; for the first couple, it costs 95 euros, and for a possibly participating second couple, 50 euros. From five hours, there is a package price of 80 euros per hour. This is interesting for couples, witnesses, or small groups who prefer individual attention and want to work specifically on technique, figures, or a particular dance. Private lessons are thus the most individualized form of preparation in the entire house, especially when time is short or a specific event is approaching. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/tanzen-kurse/privatstunden/?utm_source=openai))

Content-wise, the couple courses at Tanzhaus Bonn are broadly structured. The official program mentions several levels where beginners and advanced dancers can orient themselves towards slow waltz, Viennese waltz, discofox, jive, foxtrot, cha cha cha, rumba, salsa, and tango. For the beginner level 1, no prior knowledge is required according to the program. The structure is deliberately designed so that couples can learn at their own pace and are not pushed through a rigid scheme. This is particularly valuable for wedding guests, leisure couples, and people with little experience because the way to the dance floor here works not with pressure but with guidance and repetition. So, those looking for weddings, couple courses, or private lessons will find a clearly structured and practical solution at Tanzhaus Bonn. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Programmheft-2024_2025.pdf))

Dance Singles, Singles Exchange, and Dance Partner Exchange

Another important search area is dancing without a fixed partner, and here too, Tanzhaus Bonn has a clear profile. The official course program describes that there are a variety of courses aimed exclusively at dance singles. The structure of these courses is designed so that participants train with changing partners and thus quickly find connections both technically and socially. The house explicitly speaks of new acquaintances, regular partner changes, and a special ambiance where dancing alone is by no means a disadvantage. This is an important signal for many users looking for a singles exchange or dance partner exchange: those who want to meet people while dancing will not find an anonymous event here but a pedagogically supported framework. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Programmheft-2024_2025.pdf))

The official website also refers to an online dance partner exchange and additional offers for dance singles. These include intensive courses for couples and dance singles mentioned on the homepage. The content of the single courses in level 1 includes slow waltz, discofox, Viennese waltz, jive, tango, foxtrot, cha cha cha, rumba, and salsa. This mix makes sense as it encompasses both classic social dances and Latin American elements. For people looking for an entry point without a fixed partner, Tanzhaus Bonn offers not just a keyword but a real course model with regularity and support. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Programmheft-2024_2025.pdf))

Particularly pleasant is the social atmosphere. The official program mentions a cozy bar where one can sit away from the dance floor, as well as relaxed evenings with friendly dance instructors. This combination of learning, contact, and leisure makes the single offers attractive. It is not about putting pressure on someone but about conveying dancing without a partner as a normal and valuable hobby. So, those looking for a singles exchange, dance partner exchange, or simply a place to dance without a partner will find what they are looking for at Tanzhaus Bonn. The house offers both regular courses and special events and open formats where one can casually drop in. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Programmheft-2024_2025.pdf))

Rooms, Rooftop Terrace, and Active Dance Floor

A significant part of the charm at Tanzhaus Bonn is the rooms themselves. The official program brochure mentions a large lounge area with a spacious rooftop terrace, as well as fully air-conditioned rooms. This combination makes the house interesting not only for courses but also for longer stays between sessions or for accompanying persons looking for a pleasant place to linger. The brochure also highlights that one can relax in the lounge area with friends, even when not dancing. This ambiance is complemented by the bar team, which offers fresh food, homemade cocktails, selected wines, and snacks. This makes it clear that Tanzhaus Bonn is not only functional but also hospitable. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Programmheft-2024_2025.pdf))

The active dance floor is the special highlight of the modern concept. According to the official description, it is open on all teaching days and is accompanied by a dance teacher who supports with questions and helps during practice. This means: dancing does not only take place in the classic course but also in a format where repetition and practice are quite naturally included. According to the website, there is a dance party at Tanzhaus Bonn seven days a week; the active dance floor is open on Mondays from 7:00 PM to about 11:00 PM, Tuesdays to Fridays from 6:00 PM to about 11:00 PM, Saturdays from 4:45 PM to about midnight, and Sundays from 3:00 PM to about 10:00 PM. On Sundays, the traditional dance tea takes place in this context. For members, the active dance floor is included; guests pay an entrance fee. ([tanzhaus-bonn.de](https://tanzhaus-bonn.de/aktivtanzflaeche/))

The special atmosphere also includes the quality and historical level. The imprint names Tanzhaus Bonn GmbH as a dance school, dance and event house, with management, based in Bonn and membership in ADTV and DEHOGA. The official program brochure speaks of over 20 years of experience on site and a German dance school certification with a 5-star excellence seal. The FAQ adds to the history: Timo Müller took over the Tanz Center Rose in 2000, the renaming to Tanzhaus Bonn took place in 2009, and on October 20, 2010, Tanzhaus Bonn opened its doors in the Vilicher Arkaden. This makes it clear that behind the pleasant surface, there is not only a beautiful space but also a grown structure with tradition, training, and continuity. I was at Tanzhaus Bonn for a weekend (Friday to Sunday) to participate in a West Coast Swing Festival, but I was really amazed by the atmosphere immediately after I entered! Big open dance floor, nicely designed seats, a bar and a big balcony - just perfect for a social dance! Besides that it's just one minute away from a train station Bonn-Vilich, really practical to catch a train after dancing whole night :) If I'd be living in Bonn, I'd come here for a course and events more regularly.

SwingIN is one of my favorite WCS Events in Germany. I just love the supportive community and amazing staff. I am definitively going to attend next year!
