RheinBühne - Leipertz und Niehus GbR | Program & Tickets
The RheinBühne - Leipertz und Niehus GbR is Bonn's cultural living room located at Oxfordstraße 20-22. The venue was founded in 2016 and has been using fixed premises in the center of Bonn since 2019. The project is backed by Katharina Niehus and Paul Leipertz, who have established the stage as a place for encounters, entertainment, and cultural diversity. On the official website, the RheinBühne describes itself as a vibrant stage with a program ranging from stand-up comedy and English comedy to cabaret and shows, as well as private celebrations. Those looking for a place where a compact, personal atmosphere combines with a very colorful program will find one of the most unique addresses in the Bonn scene here. The character as a cultural living room runs through all communication: approachable, versatile, audience-oriented, and consciously not like a large mass venue, but like a stage close to the audience. ([rheinbuehne.de](https://www.rheinbuehne.de/))
Program, Tickets, and Current Show Dates
The current program of the RheinBühne is broad and does not follow a strict genre pattern. The official calendars for 2026 and 2027 show a mix of comedy solo, comedy show, comedy flash, poetry slam, song slam, open mic, English comedy, concert, reading, magic show, lecture, improv show, music game show, and PPT karaoke. This diversity is one of the strongest signals from the keyword analysis: users are not only looking for a general location but especially for specific formats, dates, and types of performances. The RheinBühne meets this demand with a continuously updated monthly calendar and several recurring series. This is particularly valuable from an SEO perspective because seekers often look for a specific evening or show rather than just the address of the venue. For ticket inquiries, the mix is also exciting: some formats operate on classic tickets, others on a donation basis or special box office models. This way, the RheinBühne offers various entry hurdles for different visitor groups while remaining flexible enough to try out new formats. ([rheinbuehne.de](https://rheinbuehne.de/programm?utm_source=openai))
It is particularly noticeable that the RheinBühne does not present its program as a rigid one-time offer but as an ongoing cultural curve with recurring series. The calendars repeatedly feature comedy slam, open mic, song slam, English comedy, and poetry slam over several months. This shows that the stage is not just a guest performance venue but an independent production site with a clear profile. The official description as a place for young and young-at-heart visitors who want to combine entertainment, community, and culture fits well. This is important for visitors because they can quickly understand that not only individual highlights take place here but a complete annual program with changing focuses. Those looking for tickets should check the respective formats: some evenings have fixed prices, others operate as donation events with recommendations, while others like the comedy slam combine online sales and box office. This keeps the RheinBühne flexible and transparent at the same time. ([rheinbuehne.de](https://rheinbuehne.de/programm?utm_source=openai))
Bonn Comedy Slam, Song Slam, and Let's Talk
The strongest keyword signals clearly revolve around the slam formats. According to the Bonn city calendar, four comedians compete against each other at the Bonn Comedy Slam, each with ten minutes of material, and the audience decides the outcome. Thus, the evening follows the classic slam principle: competition, direct reaction, and a very active audience connection. The RheinBühne positions this format not as a dry stage program but as an evening full of laughter, creativity, and friendly competition. For the ticket structure, it is important: online there are regular and discounted tickets, while different prices apply at the box office. This mix of clear rules and open audience participation makes the comedy slam a recurring crowd puller. The fact that the stage organizes it over several seasons and with final or semi-final models underscores the serious, recurring character of the format. ([bonn.de](https://www.bonn.de/veranstaltungskalender/veranstaltungen/hauptkalender/extern/Bonner-Comedy-Slam-25-26.php?utm_source=openai))
The Bonn Song Slam has a similar character but is musical. According to the event description, the first Bonn Song Slam started on September 30, 2022, at the RheinBühne. Six singer/songwriters compete against each other in two preliminary rounds, with original songs being mandatory and cover versions excluded. Whether amplified or unplugged, in any language, whether rock, ballad, punk, or folk: a lot is allowed as long as the song is original. This is ideal for the search intent because many users want to understand not only a date but also the rules when looking for a song slam. The RheinBühne offers a musical competition with openness and clarity through this format. In parallel, the format Let's Talk, a poetry slam, is found in search queries, described on the ticket page as a popular slam with a colorful mix of thoughtful, humorous, light, and heavy texts. The evening is moderated by Ruth Hirsch. For all three series, it holds true: they thrive on closeness, reaction, and an audience that not only watches but actively shapes the evening. ([eventfrog.de](https://eventfrog.de/en/p/groups/bonner-song-slam-7012452220344890908.html?utm_source=openai))
Open Mic, English Comedy, and Emerging Talent Stage
The RheinBühne is not only a place for established series but also for emerging talent and experiments. The monthly open mic at the RheinBühne is aimed at aspiring musicians who want to showcase their talent in front of an audience. According to the official description, solo artists and bands are welcome, and each performance is limited to three music pieces with a maximum of 15 minutes of playtime. As recognition, there is a drink on the house, and entry is donation-based with a recommendation of at least 5 euros. This combination of openness, clear framework conditions, and low-threshold access fits perfectly with the search terms around open mic and shows that the RheinBühne consciously wants to be a stage for new voices. The format is designed to be monthly and has a fixed schedule with check-in at 7 PM and show start at 8 PM. This allows the event to be well planned and simultaneously anchored as a regular date in the cultural calendar. ([rheinbuehne.de](https://rheinbuehne.de/eintritt-frei-konstenlos/open-mic?utm_source=openai))
Another search driver is English comedy in Bonn, and here too the RheinBühne provides a clear offer. On the official page, Bonn-Bastic is described as a monthly English comedy show with Mari Volar. Particularly relevant for the keyword analysis is the note that the show takes place every third Monday. This makes the format easy to remember and attractive for international guests. The RheinBühne shows that it not only covers German-speaking culture but also addresses an audience looking for English-speaking stand-up formats. Together with the calendars in which English comedy, open mic, poetry slam, and comedy shows regularly appear, a picture emerges of a stage that works for both emerging artists and an urban, linguistically diverse audience. For visitors, this is practical because they can find different evenings within the same location without having to switch to another venue. This bundling of formats makes the RheinBühne so strong in the long-tail search environment and explains why keywords related to open mic, English comedy, and various slams appear particularly frequently. ([rheinbuehne.de](https://rheinbuehne.de/eintritt-frei-konstenlos/bonn-bastic-monthly-english-comedy-show?utm_source=openai))
Directions, Parking, and Address on Oxfordstraße
The RheinBühne is located in Bonn at Oxfordstraße 20-22, 53111 Bonn, Germany; the office is located at Heerstraße 48 according to the official website. This address combination is important for visitors because it visibly makes the organizational separation between the office and the theater clear while also confirming the central downtown location. On the contact page, the RheinBühne also states its availability on weekdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is relevant for people who want to clarify tickets, bookings, or general inquiries directly with the team rather than through social media. Bonn's city center is generally an area with many public parking options, and the city of Bonn refers to a network of parking garages in the center. For the RheinBühne, the Oxfordstraße itself is particularly important as a reference axis because the location is situated in the urban environment and does not function as a freestanding suburban location. Therefore, anyone planning an evening there should always consider the journey in Bonn and allow some buffer for inner-city traffic. ([rheinbuehne.de](https://www.rheinbuehne.de/))
Regarding parking, the most reliable information comes from city and garage-related sources around Bonn's city center. The Friedensplatz garage is mentioned with an entrance via Oxfordstraße, and the city of Bonn also points to additional parking garages in the downtown area. This is particularly important for the search intent because many users not only want to know if there are parking spaces available but also whether the location is sensibly accessible by car in the urban environment. For the RheinBühne, this results in a practical advantage: those coming from the surrounding area to Bonn will find several structured parking options in the nearby city center instead of random street parking. At the same time, the location on Oxfordstraße indicates that the stage is very central and thus well combinable with the usual routes of Bonn's center. For visitor communication, it is sensible to always pay attention to the current traffic situation, as downtown parking spaces can fill up quickly depending on the day of the week, show start time, and parallel events. This is precisely why keywords like parking, directions, and Oxfordstraße 20-22 are so strong in this location. ([bcp-bonn.de](https://bcp-bonn.de/friedensplatzgarage/?utm_source=openai))
History, Team, and Cultural Living Room Concept
The RheinBühne tells its story very clearly: founded in 2016, fixed premises since 2019 at Oxfordstraße 20-22, supported by Katharina Niehus and Paul Leipertz. This development is more than just a timeline; it also explains why the venue has such a personal profile. Initially, the RheinBühne was, according to its own description, a traveling cultural project, later it became a fixed address in the heart of Bonn. Thus, it is not just any rental property but the result of a long-term artistic and organizational build-up. The official website describes the venue as a place where culture and community meet and inspire each other. This is a strong brand signal because it not only makes visible the what but also the why of the stage. For SEO and content, this is valuable because seekers who Google the RheinBühne often want not only dates but also to understand what makes this place special. The answer is: a mix of personal touch, clear program idea, and local anchoring in the center of Bonn. ([rheinbuehne.de](https://www.rheinbuehne.de/))
The team profile also supports this image. According to the website, Katharina Niehus is responsible for marketing, booking, and artist support; Paul Leipertz takes care of technology, booking, and artist support. This means that the operational and creative sides run closely together. For visitors, this is a good sign because it explains why the venue can credibly and repeatedly organize so many different formats. Additionally, the website shows the regular office availability from Monday to Friday, as well as the newsletter and other offerings like chair sponsorship and friends, sponsors, and partners. This creates the image of a stage that not only publishes event dates but builds a whole environment for cultural work. The communicative tone is also noteworthy: the RheinBühne consciously addresses a broad audience, from young to young-at-heart, and aims to be inviting rather than elitist. This mix makes the place for live comedy, music, and slam formats so attractive and explains why it has become its own little brand in Bonn. ([rheinbuehne.de](https://www.rheinbuehne.de/))
Chair Sponsorship, Seating, and Visitor Tips
The seating of the RheinBühne is not just a practical detail but part of its own narrative. On the chair sponsorship page, the venue explains that the currently used chairs have reached the end of their service life and will soon be replaced by new seating. At the same time, the idea of a symbolic chair sponsorship is offered: for 65 euros, one can support a chair, receive a plaque with their name, a certificate, and be mentioned on the Wall of Fame. Color options include yellow, orange, red, and green, as long as the respective color is still available. This shows very well that the RheinBühne maintains a seated, intimate, and personal atmosphere in which the audience truly becomes part of the space. For venues, this is a strong quality feature because well-maintained and renewed seating has a direct impact on the experience. The location therefore thinks not only in terms of shows but also in terms of quality of stay. ([rheinbuehne.de](https://rheinbuehne.de/rheinb-hne-stuhlpatenschaft/?utm_source=openai))
For the visit itself, it applies: depending on the format, the RheinBühne is organized very differently. At the open mic, there is a relaxed, donation-based entry with a recommendation of at least 5 euros; at the comedy slam, there are clear ticket prices and a box office; at the song slam and let's talk, competition, audience, and artistic diversity are in the foreground. This means that visitors should always check the respective event in advance rather than assuming a standard ticket or rule. However, this variety is also the charm of the venue: one evening can consist of young music, the next day of German-speaking comedy, then again of English stand-up or a poetry slam. The RheinBühne thus creates a program that does not reduce itself to a single audience type but brings together various cultural interests under one roof. For the search intent, this is ideal because users can find all important answers in the same location with terms like tickets, program, open mic, comedy slam, and song slam.
Very nice small theater. Very cozy. You're so close, in the front row you almost have your feet on the stage. Very friendly staff. We watched "Young & Unstoppable" yesterday and really enjoyed the program. We'll definitely come back (I just ordered tickets. The only small downside: The chairs might be fine for student bottoms, but if you're over 50 like me, the folding chairs are quite uncomfortable over time. Still: Full score.
