Very well curated choice of books

Nice store, but unfriendly owner is disappointing

This little bookstore is a reason to visit Godesberg! Every time I stop by, I find new books I hadn't seen before. The recommendations are always perfectly tailored to my taste or the tastes of my friends, whether it's nonfiction, autofiction, or a children's book. I especially appreciate the numerous literary events held locally, which play a vital role in maintaining the high cultural standards in Godesberg. In my opinion, small shops like this one absolutely must be supported to promote cultural diversity and local engagement.

A great bookstore with an exciting selection of books. The selection alone shows that the owners love books. You'll meet friendly and knowledgeable staff here. It's definitely worth stopping by! The children's book section also has a special selection, and not just the typical books you'd normally expect.

Actually, one star is too much for these unnecessary hassles. They clearly don't care about generating revenue. I ordered online, and because a book was unavailable, they suggested I buy it from a local bookstore. A nice thought for the staff, but not what I wanted, especially since I didn't have time for a last-minute birthday present and I'm not mobile. Besides, the books I wanted would have to be shipped to a city 50km away. I work in customer service every day, which doesn't leave a lasting impression, or rather, it conveys the complete indifference that the store implied in their email communication. They should definitely stick to traditional book sales without an online shop. What a shame!
