The Museum Koenig in Bonn is absolutely impressive and truly one of the city’s most beautiful attractions! The animal specimens are crafted to the highest standard and look incredibly realistic. Everything is perfectly maintained – no dust, no wear. Many exhibits are even hands-on, which makes the visit especially exciting. The information throughout the museum is clear and easy to understand, suitable for both children and adults. I visited during the special exhibition “What the Health – One World. Your Health!”, which highlights the close relationship between environment, lifestyle, and human health. Fascinating and very thought-provoking! A truly exceptional museum — highly recommended!

One of the best museums I have been to. The exhibits were very high quality and informative. You could easily spend a few hours in this museum as it has lots to offer. There a mixture of typical museum exhibits, live animal exhibits, VR experiences and audio/video parts. The museum doesn't have translations for all pieces of information but you can get an audio guide and use a translation app on your phone to scan the information.

We arrived early on a Saturday and there was no queue. We paid 12€ for our family of five. Card payment. We had a twin stroller with us which was easy to navigate through the exhibition. There’s also an elevator. Snacks can only be eaten on the ground floor. The exhibition was lovely.

Amazing experience. Very immersive and well thought. I recommend coming with time and reading the history of the museum and the animals exposed in there. There’s some sort of “reparation” feeling for the poor animals captured by hunting and some beautiful stories about other animals that were dear to the museum. I loved the experience.

Amazing and engaging museum! A very interactive, beautiful, and spacious museum. There are so many animals, and it’s great that binoculars are available — they really add to the experience. The museum offers a lot of interactive and modern technologies with information about the presented animals, their natural habitats, and much more. Everything is explained in an engaging and easy-to-understand way. It’s interesting for both children and adults. We spent about 1.5 hours there and still didn’t manage to see everything — which says a lot. It was truly fascinating, and I would happily come back again.
