The location of the rooms page is also exciting because it considers the city of Bonn. In the official description, Bonn is classified as a federal city, former federal capital, Beethoven city, and gateway to the Middle Rhine Valley. The Maritim Hotel Bonn is located between Bonn and Bad Godesberg, in the midst of the economic center of the city, with good accessibility from Cologne/Bonn Airport, train station, and highway. For city travelers, the short distances to the Museum Mile, sights, and the Rhine are important, and these aspects are highlighted on the page. Additionally, the Rheinaue is only about a 5-minute walk away, according to the official description. So, those searching for a hotel that works for both business and private purposes will find a very balanced combination of location, comfort, and accessibility here. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/hotels/deutschland/hotel-bonn/hotelzimmer))
Another point is the sustainable orientation. On the official pages, the Maritim Hotel Bonn is described as GreenSign certified and as a hotel that meets verified sustainability standards. This is increasingly relevant for many guests as it adds an ecological aspect to the hotel choice. At the same time, the photos show how the hotel visually presents itself: terrace, rooms, pool area, and conference rooms give a realistic impression of what guests can expect on-site. Especially those looking for quick orientation from the search term photos will not only receive a nice image but also concrete content regarding the equipment and character of the hotel. Overall, the location between Bonn and Bad Godesberg, combined with the large rooms, free Wi-Fi, and versatile room categories, is one of the reasons why the Maritim Hotel Bonn fits well for longer stays as well as for short city trips or congress days. Carnival, History, and Special Reasons for Bonn
Those interested in carnival in Bonn also benefit from the location of the Maritim Hotel Bonn. The city of Bonn describes its carnival as a festival with more than a million people, over 100 sessions, and the grand Rose Monday parade as the highlight. For the 2026 session, the city names the Rose Monday parade on February 16, 2026, which starts at Thomas-Mann-Straße and passes by Münster and the town hall into the old town. The Bonn carnival as a whole is also extensively documented in official city information and presented as a firmly established tradition. This is important for hotel guests because Bonn thus becomes a particularly vibrant travel destination during each session. Those staying overnight during the fifth season need accommodation that is centrally located, easily accessible, and offers peace after the city program - exactly this mix is provided by the Maritim Hotel Bonn with its location between the city center and Bad Godesberg. ([bonn.de](https://www.bonn.de/bonn-erleben/ausgehen-und-erleben/karneval.php?loc=de&utm_source=openai))
Historically, the hotel is also remarkable. In the company history of Maritim, the luxurious congress hotel in Bonn with 410 rooms and suites is explicitly mentioned. It states that Maritim even achieved an entry in the Guinness Book of Records with this building and welcomed its first guests after just nine months of construction. The Maritim Hotels also point out that the company has been in existence since 1969 and is now the most significant private provider of congress opportunities in Germany. For the Maritim Hotel Bonn, this background is not just a marketing detail but part of its own identity: the hotel has stood for the connection of living and conferencing under one roof from the very beginning. So, those searching for stars, history, or the special profile of the hotel will encounter a genuine tradition in the German congress and city hotel segment. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/ueber-maritim))
That is precisely why the Maritim Hotel Bonn works for very different occasions. It is a conference hotel, wellness hotel, breakfast address, parking garage, urban overnight location, and starting point for carnival, museum tours, or appointments in the Rhine region. This versatility also explains why so many search queries around address, parking, events, hall, wellness, sauna, and breakfast target the same location. The hotel does not offer an exotic presentation but a robust, very practical mix of size, location, and amenities. Those wanting to visit Bonn and consolidate as many functions in one house as possible will find a particularly suitable solution here. And that is what makes the Maritim Hotel Bonn one of the most frequently searched hotel addresses in the city. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/hotels/deutschland/hotel-bonn/bilder))

Maritim Hotel Bonn | Parking & Events
The Maritim Hotel Bonn is a destination for business trips, conferences, and relaxing stays in one of the most exciting locations in the city. Between Bonn and Bad Godesberg, right in the economic center, the hotel combines good accessibility with plenty of space for meetings, relaxation, and short distances to the Rhine, Rheinaue, and Museum Mile. Officially, guests can expect 410 rooms and suites, 3 restaurants and 1 bar, a swimming pool, Finnish sauna, bio steam sauna, fitness room, 16 event rooms, and an underground garage with 350 spaces. Those looking for photos in advance will find impressions of the terrace, rooms, pool, and conference areas on the official pages, which showcase the character of the hotel well. For travelers seeking a hotel with conference expertise, wellness, and a convenient location, the Maritim Hotel Bonn is therefore a logical choice. For all those traveling from Bonn itself, from the region, or from further away, address, directions, parking, breakfast, and floor plans are important search topics - and these points particularly shape the hotel's presentation. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/hotels/deutschland/hotel-bonn/bilder))
Parking, Address, and Directions to the Maritim Hotel Bonn
Those looking for the Maritim Hotel Bonn will find the official address at the combination of Kurt-Georg-Kiesinger-Allee 1 and Godesberger Allee in 53175 Bonn. This double mention is important for many users because it is entered differently in search engines, navigation systems, and map apps. The hotel is centrally located between the city center of Bonn and Bad Godesberg, making it a sensible area for business travelers as well as for guests wishing to explore Bonn as a city destination. The connection to the highway, train station, and airport is particularly convenient, as highlighted on the official directions pages. Additionally, there is the option to navigate directly to the hotel using the route planner or to view it on the Google Maps map. Thus, the search term maps becomes not just a digital tool but a real advantage in planning the journey. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/hotels/deutschland/hotel-bonn/anfahrt?utm_source=openai))
The hotel is also well-equipped for parking. The underground garage offers 350 spaces, which is an important argument for a city hotel with congress functionality. The current parking fee is €24.00 per day or €3.00 per started hour. For guests with electric mobility, there are 22 charging stations for electric vehicles, plus 2 e-bike charging stations. This not only facilitates arrival by car but also makes the hotel attractive for modern mobility concepts. Those coming from further away can use the distances as orientation: Bonn Central Station is about 5 km away, Cologne/Bonn Airport about 27 km, and the A562 highway only 0.3 km. For an appointment in the city, it is also helpful that the Museum Mile is about 2 km and the Rheinaue about 1 km away. Thus, the Maritim Hotel Bonn connects city center location, event proximity, and leisure comfort at short distances. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/hotels/deutschland/hotel-bonn/anfahrt?utm_source=openai))
Getting there by public transport is also easy: From Bonn Hbf, among others, U16, U63, and U66 head towards the hotel area, and from the ICE station Siegburg, the U66 leads to the stops Olof-Palme-Allee / Deutsche Telekom or Robert-Schuman-Platz. The official site also provides taxi fare estimates that are helpful for travel planning. This is particularly important for guests comparing prices, as it makes not only the hotel itself but also the routes there calculable. So, those searching for address, parking, and maps will find at the Maritim Hotel Bonn not just a name but a very concrete logistics solution. This combination of location, underground garage, charging infrastructure, and quick accessibility explains why the hotel is a popular starting point for both conference guests and weekend visitors. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/hotels/deutschland/hotel-bonn/anfahrt?utm_source=openai))
Events, Maritim Hall, and Conference Rooms
The Maritim Hotel Bonn is not just a hotel but also a real event center. On the official conference page, it states that there are 16 small rooms, large rooms, halls, and foyers - a clear statement for all those searching for events, hall, and capacity. Notably, the two large halls Maritim and Beethoven, both with built-in stages and access to the large foyer, are highlighted. For larger events, the Maritim Hall is particularly important, as the hotel states capacities for events of up to 5,000 people and lists the Maritim Hall itself with up to 2,800 people. Thus, the hotel is among the powerful event addresses in Bonn and the entire Rhineland. The space and flexibility make it interesting for conferences as well as banquets, corporate events, trade fairs, and festive evenings. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/tagung/deutschland/hotel-bonn/tagungen))
A look at the MICE flyer shows how differentiated the room offerings are. In addition to Maritim Hall, there is Beethoven Hall with 550 sqm, Schumann Hall with 425 sqm, and Reger Hall with 300 sqm. These main halls are complemented by numerous salons such as Haydn, Koch, Einstein, Rheinaue, Lenné, Mann, Haber, Arndt, Hauptmann, and Planck. This is important information for small meetings, seminars, or training sessions, as not only the number of rooms but also the size is appropriate. Some rooms have natural light, which is a real advantage for longer conferences and workshops. Additionally, hybrid and digital events are explicitly part of the offering, which meets the current demands of modern event formats. So, those searching for the right floor plan will find rooms at the Maritim Hotel Bonn from compact meetings to large congress formats. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/tagung/deutschland/hotel-bonn/tagungen))
The hotel is particularly attractive for organizers who want to consolidate everything under one roof. The official description refers to modern conference technology, first-class equipment, and event spaces that can be flexibly adapted to different formats. Special occasions are also considered on the premises: Events with barbecues are planned on the fountain terrace, and the hotel presents itself as a partner of Sustainable Bonn. For planners, the conference package meet@maritim is also relevant, which includes internet access for all participants. So, those organizing a wedding, banquet, or corporate party can rely not only on large capacities but also on organizational experience, clear processes, and different room characteristics. This combination of function and atmosphere makes the Maritim Hotel Bonn one of the most sought-after locations for events, halls, and meetings in Bonn. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/tagung/deutschland/hotel-bonn/tagungen))
Breakfast, Restaurants, and Bars at the Maritim Hotel Bonn
A strong search signal around the Maritim Hotel Bonn is the topic of breakfast. This is understandable, as guests can expect a breakfast buffet daily at the Rôtisserie restaurant. The opening hours are clearly stated: Monday to Friday from 6:30 to 10:30 AM, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 6:30 AM to 12 PM. The price is €24.00 per person per day. Thus, breakfast at the Maritim Hotel Bonn is not only a comfort factor but also a well-calculable part of the stay. The official description promises a wide selection of fresh rolls, cold cuts, muesli options, and hot dishes. For guests who need energy before a day full of appointments or city sightseeing, this is a very practical start to the day. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/hotels/deutschland/hotel-bonn/restaurants/restaurant-rotisserie?utm_source=openai))
Beyond that, the hotel also shows culinary versatility. The overview page for restaurants, café, and bar mentions 3 restaurants and 1 bar. Among others, the Rôtisserie restaurant, Café Brasserie, Bistro La Marée, and the piano bar are mentioned. In the brasserie, snacks and drinks are the focus, and the terrace overlooking the fountain allows for particularly enjoyable ambiance. The piano bar offers stylish drinks and live music on weekends, specifically Fridays and Saturdays. For many guests, this mix of regional breakfast, uncomplicated bistro, elegant bar, and relaxed evening offerings is a strong argument. When choosing a hotel, if one pays attention not only to the room but also to the overall gastronomic package, the Maritim Hotel Bonn is therefore much more than just a place to stay. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/hotels/deutschland/hotel-bonn/restaurants?utm_source=openai))
In the culinary profile, freshness and regionality play a visible role. The official restaurant page emphasizes seasonal products from the region, carefully planned buffets, and a versatile offering for dinner, business lunches, or special occasions. For inquiries about prices, it is also relevant that further catering values are provided on the hotel page, such as for dinner. So, those planning their stay in advance can include breakfast, dinner, and bar visits in their budget considerations. This makes the Maritim Hotel Bonn interesting for business travelers who want to start quickly in the morning and enjoy a relaxed dinner in the evening. For families, groups, and conference guests, the gastronomy offers exactly the mix of reliability and choice that one expects in a large city and conference hotel. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/hotels/deutschland/hotel-bonn/restaurants/restaurant-rotisserie?utm_source=openai))
Wellness, Sauna, and Fitness at the Maritim Hotel Bonn
Those searching for wellness and sauna in Bonn will find a surprisingly wide range of offerings at the Maritim Hotel Bonn. The official wellness area includes a 60 sqm swimming pool with a 10 x 6 m basin and a water temperature of 28 °C. There are also massage jets and a harmonious play of colors aimed at relaxation and recovery. The pool is 1.30 m deep and suitable for relaxed laps as well as a short break after a long day. The opening hours are generous: daily from 7 AM to 12 AM. This makes the area attractive for early risers as well as for guests after late meetings or events. Thus, the wellness area becomes a real added value that goes beyond mere hotel use. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/hotels/deutschland/hotel-bonn/beauty-wellness?utm_source=openai))
The sauna facilities are also remarkably well described. In the wellness area, there is a Finnish sauna at 90 °C and a bio sauna with 65 °C. The sauna is open daily from 7 AM to 12 AM. For hotel guests and visitors, it is important that the use is subject to a fee and is charged at €5 per person per day; MyMaritim Gold and Platinum members receive free access. This transparent pricing structure is relevant for many inquiries about prices and sauna, as it immediately shows what costs to expect. The offering is complemented by a modern fitness room with ergometer, treadmill, cross trainer, cable pull station, and weight bench. So, those who want to not only relax but also train will find suitable conditions directly in the hotel. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/hotels/deutschland/hotel-bonn/beauty-wellness?utm_source=openai))
The wellness profile also includes treatments at the Wellness Beauty & Nails studio. The official page explicitly addresses guests from Bonn and the surrounding area and states opening hours from Monday to Friday 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday by appointment. For treatments starting from €40, external guests receive free access to the swimming pool and sauna area. Additionally, bathrobes, towels, and slippers can be rented for a fee. This is practical for all those who want to not only take a short break but plan a complete wellness day. For longer stays, weekends, or business trips with demanding time frames, the Maritim Hotel Bonn thus offers a clear advantage: relaxation takes place not somewhere in the city but directly on-site and without additional travel. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/hotels/deutschland/hotel-bonn/beauty-wellness?utm_source=openai))
Rooms, Photos, and the Location Between Bonn and Bad Godesberg
The rooms page of the Maritim Hotel Bonn clearly shows why the hotel works for different travel occasions. In total, there are 410 rooms and suites on 6 floors. Even the standard category is generously sized: Classic rooms range from 26 to 28 sqm, offering box spring beds, Wi-Fi, safe, mini-fridge, and a bright workspace. Additionally, there are comfort rooms on the 4th floor and superior rooms on the upper floors, some equipped with balconies and a capsule machine for coffee and tea. For families or small groups, there are classic family rooms, ClassicPlus rooms with connecting doors, and other family solutions. Important for barrier-conscious travelers: The hotel has 4 accessible rooms that are wheelchair-friendly. The free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel is also a plus, as is the good working atmosphere in the rooms, which is particularly relevant for business travelers. ([maritim.de](https://www.maritim.de/de/hotels/deutschland/hotel-bonn/hotelzimmer))
The search terms photos and maps are relevant in this context because the official presentation of the hotel works with many images and the location can be displayed directly on maps.
I wanted to leave this review to correct some inaccuracies in earlier reviews. This is an enormous, old, '80s style hotel but kept scrupulously clean. Highlights include the bar (well designed for evening drinks) and the good (naked) sauna and pool (not naked). Breakfast needs to cater for a lot of people but is decent, with decent filter coffee and sparkling wine. Things to note: 1. Parking is completely free outside in the open air in a large car park. The underfloor car parking is chargeable (EV charging there but we did not use). We could see our car from our 5th floor room (area is very quiet) 2. No charge for the swimming pool/sauna. Note, We were in a family superior plus room but don't think this was a room perk. 3. Room grading is not clear on website (My query about this was unanswered), but for a family of four my guess is you are paying for: higher floors, more modern decor, coffee machine. No mucking about with a sofa bed, they just gave us two rooms with adjoining door (benefit of being so massive). We were able to use both the swimming pool and the sauna until midnight, which was a real bonus giving when we were travelling.

Been staying here for about 5 weeks. Room is very spacious and location is excellent. It is about 5 minutes walk to the tram station. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Johannes is extremely nice. I am impressed he could remember my name after only talking to him once. I always look for him when I need assistance. Only downsides are unstable Wifi and air conditioner. Wifi got disconnected every 5 minutes. Although I am here in winter, the room is sometimes over warm, even with windows open. The temperature that I only can set is 27 or 28 above. The air conditioner will be off when you set the temperature to 26 or below.

We had just a one night stopover here on the last leg of our European driving holiday. We booked on the day of arrival and the price for the room and breakfast was very reasonable. The hotel looks and feels very plush, the room and beds extremely comfortable and the breakfast was extensive and varied. Location is great as the Metro station is just a couple hundred metres away and we spent a very pleasant evening in city centre. However we did find the Piano bar a bit odd, we went for some last evening cocktails but instead of the piano there was a German guitarist/singer who played rock songs and sang in various comic accents which was quite odd. Whilst he did pay a couple of piano numbers it wasn't the piano background music we had expected and was quiet loud. Staff we found to be polite and a special mention to Mr Rana the Indian receptionist. We had asked about the trains when booking in and later at the station when he was off duty he remembered our names and ensured we got the right train and then when he had left the train he jumped back on to advise us this was the stop we needed. As he was off duty we were very impressed that he went over and above his staff duties.

My family stayed there in April for the POST marathon, and it was such a pleasant experience. 1. breakfast I like the breakfast time in maritim, the restaurant has a bit retro mood(in a good way, I kinda wish there would be no renovation there), with kinda staffs. the choice in the buffet exceeded ones in other hotels in similar grade of hotel, well arranged. Since the place is big, no hurry and no busyness, and we really enjoyed breakfast there, watching s S-Bahn through the windows. 2. room*family room comfort The room was big, again, bigger than other new, franchised hotels. I liked that there was plenty of extra space, enough for family yoga, hahah. The bed was comfortable for me(it could depend on personal preference). Our room was located at the corner, so we could enjoy the view from two sides. 3. location. It was not located in downtown, it is located in the government building zone(a very green place) bit away from tourist places, which personally i liked. The S-Bahn station is very close to the hotel, the bus and U-Bahn stations were nearby, so we can access downtown easily, and a big park was nearby, so we enjoyed taking a walk there. 4. friendly staffs. Staffs are friendly and helpful. We arrived there before 1 pm, which was earlier than the official check-in time(3 pm? i guess), but the staff checked us in anyway, very flexible service. 5. etc I would like to talk about the styles. It did not have up to date atmosphere. But that was what I liked, retro and reminds me of golden business times, for example, the elevators were trimmed with golden color. (again, it is personal opinion) We liked Bonn(there was some coziness my family really liked), and we would like to visit marintim again.
