small theater Bad Godesberg | Schedule & Tickets 2026

The small theater Bad Godesberg is one of the stages in Bonn that is recognized not by size, but by proximity, continuity, and program diversity. The venue is located in the spa park of Bad Godesberg, has 161 seats, and combines a classic theater atmosphere with a clearly structured service for tickets, subscriptions, directions, and current dates. On the official website, visitors can find not only the current schedule but also seasonal overviews for 2024/2025, 2025/2026, and 2026/2027, which explains the frequent search queries for schedule, program, and upcoming events immediately. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/service/anfahrt))

For seekers, the house is particularly interesting because it covers several informational needs simultaneously: Those who want to see something today can find the calendar; those looking for tickets can find the box office, online shop, and advance sales; those arriving by car receive specific information about the town hall parking; and those interested in history discover a building with a long Bonn and Godesberg theater tradition. The small theater is thus not only a cultural venue but also a very well-documented address for visitors who want to orient themselves precisely in advance. Schedule and Program 2026 at the small theater Bad Godesberg

The most important search impulse around the small theater Bad Godesberg is clear: people want to know what is on the schedule and what they can see today or in the coming weeks. The official website shows a current event calendar with a note on 31 events as well as specific dates for April and May 2026. Among others, BEI ANRUF MORD, EIN KAPITEL FÜR SICH, and Stephan Hippe – The KNEF story appear, thus a mix of crime, literary adaptation, and musical program. This very range characterizes the stage, as the house has always been designed for a repertoire that alternates between drama, boulevard, musical formats, and special evenings. The proximity to the audience ensures that even well-known material has a different effect: concentrated, direct, and without distance. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/veranstaltungsort/kleines-theater))

The seasonal overview for 2025/2026 also confirms this orientation very clearly. Titles such as ACHT FRAUEN, DAS KUNSTSEIDENE MÄDCHEN, GRETCHEN 89FF., MONDLICHT UND MAGNOLIEN, JOSEF UND MARIA, 2:22 UHR, and DIE SCHWESTER VON are listed. This is complemented by DIE 39 STUFEN and other productions from the theater's archive. This covers the frequent search terms schedule 2026, program, schedule 2025, schedule 2024, sister of, and 39 steps multiple times. For visitors, this is practical because the website not only shows individual events but also makes the entire artistic profile of the house visible. Those planning an evening can immediately recognize whether a classic, a crime story, a comedy, or an emotional monologue is on the program. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/?eventDisplay=venue&hide_subsequent_recurrences=1&post_type=tribe_venue&tribe_venue=kleines-theater&utm_source=openai))

Particularly valuable is that the small theater Bad Godesberg does not appear as an interchangeable multipurpose hall, but as a clearly positioned cultural address with a recognizable signature. The official site shows current series, monthly views, and photo views, making orientation even easier. Those interested in today's performances can quickly check which dates are upcoming via the calendar navigation. Those looking for upcoming events can find several months at a glance in the calendar. And those interested in specific titles can filter by productions instead of laboriously clicking through general cultural portals. This is exactly what creates the high search value of this theater: it is small enough for clear information and at the same time large enough in its programmatic diversity. Tickets, Box Office, and Subscriptions

Tickets are available at the small theater Bad Godesberg in several ways, which is a clear advantage for visitors. The box office in the foyer is open weekdays from 10 to 12 o'clock, and on performance days usually from 17:30 to 19:30 o'clock. Tickets can also be booked online via the ticket shop and through bonnticket.de. Important for all who prefer to buy directly on site: there are no advance booking fees at the box office. Tickets ordered by phone must be picked up within three days. So those looking for tickets not only get a digital but also a very concrete analog point of contact with fixed times and clear rules. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/service/tickets-abonnements))

The pricing and subscription system is also clearly structured. For single tickets, the website lists regular prices between 25 and 36 euros depending on the price group, as well as reduced prices between 12 and 18 euros. In addition, there are special offers such as the full subscription, the choice subscription, the Christmas subscription, the premiere subscription, and the flexible 10-ticket card. For students, there is also the student ticket from ASTA Bonn for 3 euros. The website also points out that the full subscription offers a price advantage of 30 percent compared to the single ticket. This is not only interesting for regular guests but also for people who want to visit the theater regularly and appreciate a fixed seat on a fixed weekday. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/service/tickets-abonnements))

Even with the discounts, it shows that the house wants to appeal to a broad audience. Beneficiaries include children up to 13 years, students, trainees, volunteers, holders of the Bonn pass or volunteer card, as well as people with appropriate social benefits and severely disabled individuals from 50 percent including a companion with feature B. There are also special prices and group orders for school classes and courses. This results in a ticket model that organizes both quick individual visits and long-term subscriptions and group visits fairly and practically. So those who want to plan not only for today but for the entire duration of the season will find very clear conditions here. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/service/tickets-abonnements))

Parking, Directions, and Opening Hours

The directions are one of the most important practical reasons why the small theater Bad Godesberg is often searched for. The house is located in the spa park of Bad Godesberg, directly at the subway station Stadthalle. Those arriving by car are advised to use the parking spaces at the town hall. There, one usually finds a free parking space comfortably in the evening, and it is only a few steps to the theater via the pedestrian bridge. For visitors from Bonn and the surrounding area, this is a very good combination of public transport connection and simple car logic. The search term parking is thus answered immediately without having to struggle through complicated parking garage lists or unclear maps. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/service/anfahrt))

It is also particularly important to note that there is a no stopping zone in front of the theater in the cul-de-sac. This makes it clear that the house relies on orderly visitor flows and does not understand the immediate forecourt as a stopping area. This clarity is helpful on a theater evening, as it reduces stress when arriving and getting out. Those coming by train have it very easy thanks to the subway station Stadthalle. Those traveling by car can plan for the town hall parking and the pedestrian bridge. This makes the journey manageable for both older guests and visitors with luggage, groups, or a tight schedule. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/service/anfahrt))

The structure of the opening hours is also clear. The box office is open two hours before the performance on performance days, usually from 17:30 to 19:30. The theater office welcomes visitors Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 12:00 at the box office. Additionally, the ticket page provides further time slots for telephone advance sales and personal ticket purchases. This is practical because one can plan the theater visit not only according to the play but also according to the actual daily schedule. Those searching for opening hours will thus find no vague information but a well-functioning service plan for everyday life. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/service/kontakt))

History of the House and Development Since 1958

The history of the house is central to the identity of the small theater Bad Godesberg. The current building was constructed in 1922/23 as a residential building for the bank Gebr. David based on a design by architect Willy Maß. In 1924, the director of the Schillerwerke moved into the house, and in 1925, the municipality of Godesberg purchased the property and set up the mayor's official residence there. After 1945, the building served various users until the city council made it available to the Small Theater in 1969. After extensive renovations, the first premiere took place on September 18, 1970, in the new venue. This long history of use explains why the theater does not appear as a new building but as a place with a lived past. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/theater/die-geschichte-des-hauses))

However, the actual theater history begins artistically in 1958. On October 21, 1958, Walter Ullrich founded the Small Theater in Bad Godesberg's Ubierstraße in a cellar. The official theater history emphasizes that the then 27-year-old started with little money and much enthusiasm and was initially the youngest director in Germany. His autobiography also makes it clear how closely his name is associated with the development of the house. Since 2019, the management has been with Frank Oppermann, marking a clear but respectful transition. So those searching for owner or successor discover a house that consciously nurtures its roots while still evolving. This mix of tradition and passing on makes the theater credible for many visitors. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/theater/die-geschichte-des-kleinen-theaters))

It is also remarkable how consistently the website presents this history. It not only shows the theater's chronology but also the history of the house, the team structure, the founder Walter Ullrich, and the transition to the current management. This way, the search terms history, owner, founder, and successor are not treated as mere SEO words but as genuine orientation points for visitors. The theater is thus not only a performance venue but also a piece of Bad Godesberg cultural history told in a historic building. Especially because the house does not loudly stage itself externally, the historical depth is all the more powerful. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/theater/die-geschichte-des-kleinen-theaters))

161 Seats, Foyer, Entrance, and Theater Bar: Equipment for Events

With 161 seats, the small theater Bad Godesberg is one of the more intimate venues in the region, and that is exactly what makes its charm. The seating creates closeness between the stage and the audience without losing the elegance of a real theater space. On the rental page, the theater lists not only the hall but also the foyer, entrance, and the theater bar Ullrich’s as usable areas. Those searching for hall plan, seating plan, or best seats do not get an anonymous large house but a compact stage with a clear structure. This is pleasant for theater evenings because the paths remain short, sightlines are clear, and the atmosphere is immediate. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/service/theater-mieten))

The equipment is also well thought out for external events. The house can be rented for lectures, panel discussions, and similar formats. Lighting and sound technology can be additionally booked, and the website even provides stage plans and floor plans. This is not only useful for organizers but also for visitors interested in the spatial logic of the house. The combination of a small hall, foyer, entrance, and bar shows that the theater does not merely offer a performance space but a functioning cultural overall space. Especially in Bonn, where cultural venues are often highly specialized, this is a real advantage. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/service/theater-mieten))

Those who look closely at the usability quickly recognize why the house is so often chosen for cultural formats. A small hall here does not mean limited possibilities but targeted concentration. In discussion formats, readings, or productions with few performers, a special density arises because the distance to the audience remains small and every reaction becomes palpable. At the same time, the house is flexible enough to accommodate both classic theater evenings and special events. This combines practical space usage and artistic quality on a level that is often underestimated in everyday life. For guests who consciously seek a manageable yet professional event venue, this is a very strong argument. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/service/theater-mieten))

Photos, Reviews, and Why the Stage is So Sought After

Why is the small theater Bad Godesberg so often searched with photos, reviews, and today? Because the stage immediately arouses curiosity visually and programmatically. The official website offers a virtual tour of the house, as well as event entries with image material and a photo view in the calendar. This facilitates orientation because interested parties can get an impression of the architecture, atmosphere, and proximity to the stage even before purchasing tickets. Especially in a house in the spa park, the combination of historical backdrop and concentrated performance space is a real attraction. Those looking for pictures usually want not only to see the building but to understand how close they sit to the stage action and how the place overall feels. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/service/theater-mieten))

The provided review data with 4.7 stars from 473 reviews also shows that the house is very well received by its audience. Together with the current productions such as SCHWESTER VON, DIE 39 STUFEN, and BEI ANRUF MORD, it becomes clear why the theater often appears in search engines as a destination for upcoming events, schedule 2026, or program. It combines a historic place, a close audience relationship, and a varied repertoire mix. Those looking for a theater that is neither huge nor arbitrary will find a very clear address here in Bonn-Bad Godesberg. The frequent search terms are therefore no coincidence but the direct result of a house that offers its visitors concrete information, clear structures, and a very own atmosphere. ([kleinestheater.eu](https://kleinestheater.eu/event/schwester-von-lot-vekemans-drama/2026-03-12?utm_source=openai))

The archive structure of the website also contributes to the theater being found so well. Seasonal pages for 2024/2025, 2025/2026, and 2026/2027, various monthly views, and event series make navigation very easy for visitors. Those searching for sister of will land on a current production; those looking for 39 steps will find the crime comedy with several dates; and those wanting to see today will get the calendar opened directly. This creates the impression of a stage that not only performs but also explains its offerings very well. This is valuable for both SEO and real visitors alike. We saw the 39 steps was a divine ✌️ victory. It's a mix crime comedy 😃 of Hitchcock. Being splendid ✨️ by super artists laughing @ loveable comedians, weird characters and a charming presenter. Enjoyed variable tricks + acrobatics on the stage too! This small theater offers 👌 a mix of serious drama, boulevard comedy & 🎼 musicals. In addition the building is a protected historical monument 🏠.

Very difficult for small kids to watch the stage, unless they are sitting on the first row - very confusing setup, and the audio was not well configured, so we couldn't hear what the actors were talking, a lot of points for improvement! PS: at a cost of 20 Euros per entrance.
