HTC Schwarz-Weiss Bonn e.V. | Hockey & Tennis
The HTC Schwarz-Weiss Bonn e.V. is much more than a classic sports club: it combines hockey, tennis, padel, club life, and gastronomy at a location that is very typical yet special for Bonn. The facility is located in Ippendorf on the Venusberg, in a green elevated area on the edge of the Melbtal, and this location has shaped the character of the club to this day. Those searching for HTC Schwarz-Weiss Bonn e.V. are usually interested not just in a name, but in a place with sports offerings, training opportunities, access, public transport availability, restaurant, booking systems, and a long club history. On the official website, the club presents itself as an open place for various age groups and performance levels, where both recreational and team sports have their place. The club also emphasizes a clear welcoming culture for new members, which is intended to facilitate their entry. Thus, HTC is not only a location for play and training but also a social meeting point for families, children, teenagers, and adults. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/))
Hockey and Tennis: the two strong pillars of HTC Schwarz-Weiss Bonn e.V.
The most important search queries related to the location clearly revolve around hockey and tennis, and this is no coincidence. The club's name already makes it clear that both sports form the core of the club. On the homepage, HTC prominently presents its hockey and tennis departments and describes a wide range of opportunities for both areas. In hockey, the club particularly focuses on children and teenagers, age-appropriate and developmental training, as well as a family atmosphere. In tennis, all age groups and performance levels are also addressed; according to the website, it does not matter whether someone wants to be active as a recreational player or in team operations. This mix of breadth and sporting structure is one of the main reasons why the club is searched for so often online. Those searching for htc schwarz weiß bonn hockey or htc schwarz weiss bonn tennis therefore expect not only general information but also indications of training offers, team structures, and entry opportunities. This is exactly where the website comes in, linking teams, coaches, youth areas, and general information neatly together. This makes the club interesting for families as well as for ambitious players. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/))
The club's history also underscores how closely both sports are connected. The official historical account describes the founding of the tennis and hockey departments in the BFV, the merger in the Bonn THC Schwarz-Weiß, and finally the establishment of the independent club on August 13, 1949, in the Sternhotel. Later, the name HTC Schwarz-Weiss Bonn, still valid today, emerged. Further development shows that the club has grown not only in sports but also in infrastructure: the first clubhouse, the first hockey fields, new facilities on the Venusberg, a second hockey field, and the artificial turf are milestones documented by the club itself. This is important for seekers because it explains why the club is still perceived today as a well-established sports address with tradition and substance. At the same time, it becomes clear that HTC has continually evolved without losing its core identity of hockey and tennis. This stability makes the club so relevant for local searches, photos, reviews, and member inquiries. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/cms/club/de/htc-bonn-geschichte.asp))
Access, Address, and Accessibility in Bonn-Ippendorf
A second major topic in the keyword analysis is access. The HTC Schwarz-Weiss Bonn e.V. is located at Saalestraße 30, 53127 Bonn, in the Ippendorf district on the Venusberg. The official contact page describes the club facility as being located at the end of Saalestraße on the right side. For drivers, there is a detailed route description via the A 565, Konrad-Adenauer-Damm, towards Röttgen/Ippendorf, continuing via Reichstraße, Röttgener Straße, Gudenauer Weg, Haager Weg, and finally into Saalestraße. This route is particularly useful for visitors because the club is not located on a main traffic artery but deliberately in a quieter, greener environment. Therefore, those searching for htc schwarz weiss bonn anfahrt or htc schwarz weiss bonn parken usually want exactly such practical information: How do I get there easiest, and what can I expect on site? The website clearly and understandably describes access, making orientation significantly easier. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/cms/de/kontakt.asp))
The club is also easily accessible by public transport. The website mentions lines 600, 602, and 630 from Bonn Central Station heading towards Ippendorf, each stopping at Saalestraße. This is an important note for members, guests, parents, and tournament visitors arriving without a car. Additionally, the club describes access to the hockey hall in Wasserland in its contact section, which is another sporting location associated with HTC. There, both right and left bank routes are explained, showing that the club organizes its sports infrastructure not only at the club site but also at other locations. For visitors, this means: Anyone going to hockey training, games, or hall times should always check whether the event takes place at Saalestraße or in Wasserland. This is precisely why search terms like anfahrt, öffnungszeiten, and geschäftsstelle are so strongly linked to this location. The official website provides clear, up-to-date, and practical information for this. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/cms/de/kontakt.asp))
The office itself is also transparently organized. According to the official page, it is also located at Saalestraße 30 and can be reached at the Bonn phone number 0228 / 28 40 90. The opening hours are Monday 3 PM to 5 PM, Tuesday 10 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 5 PM, Wednesday 2 PM to 4 PM, Thursday 9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 5 PM, and Friday 3 PM to 5 PM. These fixed times are particularly helpful for members when it comes to applications, inquiries, bookings, or general club matters. Those searching for htc schwarz weiss bonn öffnungszeiten or htc schwarz weiss bonn geschäftsstelle expect exactly such reliable contact information. Additionally, the website names the managing director Oliver Voigt and a staff member of the office, making the club administratively tangible. For seekers, this creates the image of a club that is not only active in sports but also clearly organized in administration. This is an important aspect when one wants to understand the location not just as a sports facility but also as a club address. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/cms/club/de/htc-bonn-geschaeftsstelle.asp))
Tennis Hall, Booking, and Seasonal Operation: What Players Can Expect On-Site
The tennis hall is another central topic that regularly appears in search queries about HTC Schwarz-Weiss Bonn e.V. On the official hall page, the club describes the period from October to April as the classic hall season. This is particularly relevant for Bonn's tennis community because using a hall in the colder and wetter months secures training and play operations. At the same time, the website makes it clear that the hall remains usable in the summer months, and the courts can still be booked through the booking system. This shows that indoor tennis is not just a winter solution but is flexibly integrated throughout the year. For members, coaches, and teams, this means planning security, and for new interested parties, a reliable structure. Those searching for tennishalle bonn or htc schwarz weiss bonn tennis will find here not only a sports offering but also a permanent usage option that keeps the club attractive throughout the year. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/cms/tennis/de/htc-bonn-halle.asp))
The website also provides concrete usage details. Those who want to book a fixed appointment as a subscription can contact the office via email according to the hall page. This is especially interesting for regular players who prefer consistent times. Additionally, the tennis department refers to videos on how to use the booking system, showing that the club also works with clear instructions for digital processes. This fits well with a modern club organization where court reservations, training planning, and seasonal operations are digitally integrated. This is a plus point, especially for families new to Bonn, students, or returnees. The website not only communicates what is available but also how to use it practically. This type of information is particularly valuable for visitors who want to know in advance whether they can play spontaneously or need a fixed booking. HTC answers these questions with a mix of structure, openness, and digital usability. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/cms/tennis/de/htc-bonn-halle.asp))
Another point that is interesting for seekers: The club explicitly documents on its tennis page that members have a wide range of options for all age groups and performance levels. This means that the hall is not only intended for individual players but also for youth, adults, and teams. The official tennis department also names contacts such as the sports officer, youth officer, and sports director, which further makes the sports organization visible. For searches for photos, reviews, or a first impression, this is relevant because the tennis hall is not isolated but part of a functioning departmental structure. Those wondering whether HTC Schwarz-Weiss Bonn e.V. is more of an elitist club or a broadly accessible club facility get a clear answer here: The website explicitly emphasizes both recreational and competitive sports. This makes the location exciting for different target groups and explains why many search queries revolve around courts, booking, training, and hall operations. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/cms/tennis/de/htc-bonn-tennis-allgemeines.asp))
Padel at HTC: Booking, Prices, and the New Trend Sport Offering
Even though padel is not the first search term in the available autocomplete data, the sport has now visibly become part of the club's current profile. On the official padel page, HTC describes the sport as a mix of tennis and squash and emphasizes that padel is fast, sociable, and easy to learn. The website highlights four core ideas: The entry is simple, played in doubles, the walls add extra dynamics, and the community is at the center. For a club like HTC, this is strategically important because padel appeals to new target groups who may not have a classic tennis or hockey background. Those searching for an active yet social sports offering in Bonn will find here a contemporary addition to the existing club portfolio. This is an attractive component, especially for families, beginners, and groups of friends. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/cms/de/htc-bonn-padel-allgemeines.asp))
When it comes to booking, the club also shows itself to be clearly structured. According to the website, booking is done through the Playtomic app, for both members and non-members. The booking page explains that after reserving, payment is made directly, and then one goes to the court. This is very convenient for users and meets the expectations of many modern leisure and sports offerings. The FAQ also adds that rental rackets and balls are available in the clubhouse, that members can use the racket rental for free, and that non-members pay fixed amounts for rental and balls. So, anyone wanting to try padel spontaneously does not necessarily need their own equipment. The shoe recommendation is also practical: tennis shoes with a herringbone pattern or all-court sole are mentioned. For search terms like padel bonn or booking, this area is particularly worthwhile because it provides not just advertising but truly usable information. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/cms/de/htc-bonn-buchung-padel.asp))
The price page additionally shows that the club communicates the offering transparently. It states that for padel, the price is 16 euros per hour for members and 32 euros per hour until 4 PM and 36 euros per hour from 4 PM for non-members. The booking duration is 60 minutes. This is important for visitors because the price and booking logic are clear in advance, and there are no surprises. Another practical point: The FAQ states that play is possible on the open surface even in light rain. This makes the sport more weather-resistant than many other outdoor offerings. At the same time, the club FAQ mentions that the clubhouse is open daily from 10 AM and that the office is staffed on weekdays from 11 AM, except on weekends. All in all, HTC presents itself here as a club that systematically integrates new trend sports rather than doing so half-heartedly. For search intentions around new sports, uncomplicated booking, and flexible playing options, this is a strong signal. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/cms/de/htc-bonn-preise-padel.asp))
Gastronomy and Club Life: Restaurant Sabor as a Meeting Point After the Game
Regarding the search intention around photos, reviews, and the overall impression of a location, the question of how it feels on-site is always included. At HTC Schwarz-Weiss Bonn e.V., gastronomy plays an important role in this. The official website welcomes the restaurant Sabor directly on the club premises. The address is given as Saalestraße 30 in Bonn, identical to the club facility. The opening hours are Monday to Sunday from 11 AM to 11 PM, with hot meals served from 12 PM to 3 PM and from 6 PM to 10 PM. Additionally, the website notes that from October 2025 to March 2026, Tuesdays will be a day off. Thus, it is clear: the restaurant is not just an ancillary service but an integral part of the location. For athletes, parents, guests, and visitors, this is particularly practical because training, games, or club visits can be directly combined with a meal or a drink. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/cms/club/de/htc-bonn-gastronomie.asp))
Especially in a club with hockey, tennis, and padel, gastronomy creates a real social meeting point. After training, competitive games, or friendly visits, one can stay on the premises without changing locations. This strengthens club life and fits the image that the club conveys on its website overall: sporty, open, and family-friendly. For seekers Googling htc schwarz weiss bonn fotos or rezensionen, this combination is crucial. They want to know not only if there are good courts but also if the place feels inviting, if they can stay there, and how the surroundings are organized. Gastronomy provides a clear answer to this. Existing reviews in the user context also point to food, service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Without overstating these reviews in detail, it can be said: A club with a restaurant, fixed opening hours, and a clearly recognizable meeting point function automatically appears more vibrant and accessible than a pure sports facility. This is also important from an SEO perspective, as seekers often evaluate a place for the entire stay, not just the sport itself. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/cms/club/de/htc-bonn-gastronomie.asp))
For the club's everyday life, gastronomy is also a link between competitive sports and club routine. It makes visits more predictable, eases long training or game days, and provides parents and companions with a place to wait and exchange ideas. Combined with the green location, this creates an overall picture that goes far beyond pure sports. HTC is perceived as a place where one not only plays but also lingers. This is exactly why terms like clubleben, gastronomie, restaurant, and öffnungszeiten are relevant in the context of this location. The site on the Venusberg thrives on this interplay of movement, nature, organization, and catering. This makes it attractive for families, teams, and guests alike and explains why the location is perceived online as versatile. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/))
History, Venusberg, and the Special Profile of the Club
The history of HTC Schwarz-Weiss Bonn e.V. is closely linked to the development of sports in Bonn. The official club history documents the origin in the departments of the BFV, the founding of the Bonn Tennis Hockey Club Schwarz Weiß on August 13, 1949, in the Sternhotel, and the later renaming to the currently valid name HTC SW Bonn. In the historical milestones, the first clubhouse on Reuterstraße, the first own hockey field in Wiesengrund, later facilities on the Venusberg, and the artificial turf appear. The club shows that its current location was not chosen randomly but is the result of a long development. This is important for seekers who want to get to know not just a sports field but a traditional club address with real origins. The history explains why the club has a solid name in Bonn and why it is perceived as an established entity in hockey and tennis. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/cms/club/de/htc-bonn-geschichte.asp))
Particularly defining is the location on the Venusberg. The homepage describes the club facility as a green environment on the edge of Ippendorf and the Melbtal slope, 150 meters above the Rhine level, and thus 2 to 3 degrees cooler than the city center. This is not just a nice marketing idea but a real location advantage. Those playing, training, or watching in summer usually experience a more pleasant climate here than in the valley. Additionally, the quiet location away from heavy car and train traffic adds to this. This combination of nature, elevation, and tranquility makes HTC a location that clearly differs from urban sports venues. For the keywords venusberg bonn, sportverein bonn ippendorf, and anfahrt, a clear picture emerges: The location is well described but deliberately not anchored in the middle of traffic. This peculiarity is part of its profile. ([htc-bonn.de](https://www.htc-bonn.de/))
The current overall image of the club arises from this mixture of tradition, location, and modern organization. The website shows not only hockey and tennis but also padel, membership, booking, news, support association, youth offers, and a clearly reachable office. This makes HTC Schwarz-Weiss Bonn e.V. a club that is versatile in sports and at the same time easy to navigate. Therefore, those searching for photos, reviews, or a first impression will find not just an address but a grown club world with a clear structure. The historical depth, good accessibility, location on the Venusberg, the restaurant Sabor, and the offerings for different age and performance groups make the place interesting for seekers from Bonn and the surrounding area. This is the strength of this location: It is not just a name in search results but a versatile, vibrant, and long-term developed club site with a visible identity.

The club is well-maintained, but I have to say something about the tennis coaches. Felix assigns coaches based on performance, but only for the most promising players. He leaves the others to the other coaches (recreational players). Steven doesn't enjoy coaching children. He goes to the toilet at least two or three times per session and sits on the bench watching YouTube for at least 20 minutes every hour – but only when Felix isn't there. Tatjana prefers the classic approach: hitting 500 balls into the basket, every hour, and only from the basket. Therefore, parents should probably focus on Felix. All the best!
