House of the Community Ev. Church Community Beuel | Bonn & Beuel
The Evangelical Church Community Beuel is a large community with about 8,800 people in 12 Beuel districts. It operates with four districts, each having its own church and community center. The House of the Community is located at the Beuel-North address on Adelheidisstraße 72, making it an important point of contact for worship, encounters, and community life. On the official website, it appears as a district address, a place for contributions, and a location for youth and senior work. Thus, it is not just a building, but a clearly recognizable center for people living in Beuel-North or seeking offerings from the church community. The community's page also makes it clear that life in the area is consciously organized close to the people and that the locations remain open to each other. This gives the house a special role: it connects neighborhood, faith, and practical offerings in a single, well-located center. ([evangelisch-beuel.de](https://www.evangelisch-beuel.de/wir-sinds/))
Address, Location, and Contact in the Beuel-North Parish District
Those searching for the House of the Community in Bonn-Beuel will find very clear guidance on the official page: House of the Community, Adelheidisstraße 72, 53225 Bonn. The parish district page of Beuel-North offers a map view and shows the house as the central address of the district. The same page also lists the direct contacts of the district, including Pastor Irina Solmecke-Mayer, Pastor Sven Mayer, Vicar Bjarne Thorwesten, Caretaker Michael Lang, Youth Leader Laura Hammer, and the community educational contact person Eve-Janine David. This is important for visitors because the House of the Community does not act as an anonymous event location, but as a lived part of a church community with clear contact paths. The connection to the neighborhood is particularly strong: Beuel-North is not just a geographical designation, but a distinct parish district with its own profile and direct support on-site. ([evangelisch-beuel.de](https://www.evangelisch-beuel.de/kontakt/pfarrbezirk-beuel-nord/?utm_source=openai))
For general inquiries, the community office of the Beuel church community is a central point. It is not located in the House of the Community itself, but at Siegfried-Leopold-Straße 74, 53225 Bonn. The office hours are Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM; the office is closed on Mondays. The office is clearly reachable by phone, fax, and email, which is helpful for scheduling appointments, inquiries about events, and organizational matters. This separation between district location and community office is typical for a larger church community with several districts, as it combines local proximity with central administration. Therefore, anyone with an appointment, a room, or a specific inquiry should understand the House of the Community as a location and the community office as an organizational hub. For search inquiries such as address, contact, or directions, this structure provides the most reliable orientation. ([evangelisch-beuel.de](https://www.evangelisch-beuel.de/kontakt/gemeindeamt/))
Worship Services, Groups, and Events in the Community Center
The strongest substantive statement from the official documents is: The House of the Community is a large community center. In the job description for the caretaker position, it is explicitly described as a place with a worship room, youth rooms, and offerings from the Evangelical Youth as well as the senior meeting Café Sonnendeck. Additionally, it mentions Sunday services, morning school services during the week, weddings, funerals, and events from groups and committees of the community. This shows how versatile the building is actually used. It is not just a meeting point for a single occasion, but a house where liturgical, pastoral, social, and organizational functions intertwine. It is particularly important that the community understands the house as an active place of community life, where not only visitors are received, but where many processes are prepared, accompanied, and followed up. ([evangelisch-beuel.de](https://www.evangelisch-beuel.de/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/220929_Stellenausschreibung_Kuesterin_Nord-01-3.pdf))
The church community itself consciously describes its entire offering as a lively community with various types of worship services, groups and meeting points, confirmation work, open-door offerings for children and youth, discussion rounds, game afternoons, choirs, and concerts. This overall description is important for the House of the Community because it explains the character of the place: Here, not only appointments are fulfilled, but relationships are nurtured, offerings are created, and people are brought together. Those looking for events, programs, or community life will find currently maintained contributions and event notices in the Beuel-North district as well as across the entire community life on the website. The House of the Community is thus a functional center for faith and everyday life at the same time. It is a place where religious practice, encounters, and organization are not separated from each other, but mutually strengthen each other. This mixture makes the location particularly relevant for search inquiries regarding programs, worship services, events, and community centers. ([evangelisch-beuel.de](https://www.evangelisch-beuel.de/wir-sinds/))
Café Sonnendeck and Meeting Offers for Seniors
The House of the Community has a particularly clear profile through the Café Sonnendeck. On the official page, it is described as a meeting place for people aged 60 and over, which has existed in the House of the Community on Adelheidisstraße 72 since January 2017. Women and men in their third phase of life can meet there informally for conversations and games over coffee, tea, and cake or waffles. Additionally, there are changing offerings related to literature, music, and travel, as well as creative and thematic afternoons. The opening hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 PM to 5 PM. The offering is organized by a team of volunteer women together with the leader Eve-Janine David. This is not just an additional offering, but a defining element of the identity of the house. Therefore, anyone looking for senior offerings, a café, encounters, or a friendly meeting point in Beuel will find a very concrete answer here. ([evangelisch-beuel.de](https://www.evangelisch-beuel.de/cafe-sonnendeck/?utm_source=openai))
The senior work in the Beuel-North district goes even further. The official overview of the meeting offers names a breakfast circle on the 1st Tuesday of the month from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM and a women's circle on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM for the House of the Community. Additionally, the visiting service Beuel-North meets every two months in the House of the Community to prepare visits to people over 80 years old. These offerings are a strong signal that the House of the Community is not only used for occasional events but for regular, reliable community. For the search intention of seniors, meeting points, cafés, or community centers, this is particularly important because it shows that a permanent social space exists here. The House of the Community is thus a place of continuity where agreed groups, personal encounters, and volunteer engagement come together. ([evangelisch-beuel.de](https://www.evangelisch-beuel.de/sonstige-begegnungsangebote-fuer-seniorinnen-und-senioren/))
Youth Work, Open Door, and Spaces for Young People
Youth work is also a central feature of the House of the Community. The official youth page of the church community explains that the work for and with children and young people is diverse and lively and is considered important for community building. The Open Doors are described as play and safe spaces, as a large living room, and as a second home for young people of different backgrounds and religions. For Beuel-North, this is particularly relevant because the church community explicitly names its three youth houses as locations in Vilich, Limperich, and Pützchen; Vilich is the district reference for Beuel-North. Under the leadership of the youth leaders, there are offerings within the framework of the Open Doors and additionally holiday programs. This profile clearly shows that the House of the Community is much more than a classic community house with a single hall. It is part of a strong, structured youth work that is rooted locally and remains open to many target groups. ([evangelisch-beuel.de](https://www.evangelisch-beuel.de/speziell-fuer-die-juengeren/))
The specific responsibility for the location is also clearly stated: For the OT House of the Community (North), Laura Hammer is the youth leader, reachable at the address Adelheidisstraße 72, 53225 Bonn. The job description for the caretaker position additionally emphasizes that youth and senior work shape community life in the House of the Community. This means: The rooms are not only available, they are actively used for open and accompanied work. Those looking for a youth house, open door, confirmation work, or meeting points for young people receive a reliable local address here. Interestingly, the house has a dual character: on one hand, it offers quiet and social meeting places for older people, and on the other hand, spaces and structures for young people. This range makes the House of the Community particularly suitable for search terms like youth house Beuel, community house Beuel-North, and open door. It is a house for different life phases, not just for one target group. ([evangelisch-beuel.de](https://www.evangelisch-beuel.de/jugendleiterinnen/))
Directions, Parking, and Practical Notes for Visitors
For directions, the most important information is very simple and very useful: Adelheidisstraße 72, 53225 Bonn. The official parish district page presents the House of the Community with a map view, so visitors can directly understand the location. At the same time, no separate parking list is published on the verified pages. This is relevant for inquiries regarding parking, as the community initially relies on address information and map view, not on a detailed parking space overview. Therefore, anyone planning an appointment, an event, or a group visit should take the address as a starting point and check the specific parking situation on-site. This is a factual, reliable statement that directly follows from the official presentation. ([evangelisch-beuel.de](https://www.evangelisch-beuel.de/kontakt/pfarrbezirk-beuel-nord/?utm_source=openai))
It is also practical that the community office consolidates organizational questions and is reachable separately from the House of the Community. Therefore, anyone inquiring about room questions, appointments, general concerns, or contacts can use the office at Siegfried-Leopold-Straße 74. For events and worship services, it is additionally important that the caretaker work in the House of the Community explicitly includes the preparation and follow-up of various forms of community life. This includes worship services, school services, weddings, funerals, as well as meetings of groups and committees. This shows that the house is well integrated not only substantively but also organizationally. For visitors, this means primarily planning security: the address is clear, the responsibilities are visible, and the community makes its contact paths transparent. Those looking for current dates will also find continuously new contributions and district announcements on the website, so the House of the Community does not appear static but as a lively place in the ongoing community calendar. ([evangelisch-beuel.de](https://www.evangelisch-beuel.de/kontakt/gemeindeamt/))
Photos, Digital Presence, and Integration into Community Life
Those searching for photos of the House of the Community will encounter a digital presence that heavily utilizes image tiles and photo teasers. On the homepage of the church community as well as in the district and contribution pages, image previews of the churches, the House of the Community, and current topics appear. This is important because the community presents its content not only textually but also visibly and invitingly. A separately highlighted photo gallery for the House of the Community is not the central focus on the verified pages, but images clearly accompany the contributions. For users who want to get a first impression, this is helpful because the visual presence already shows that the House of the Community is firmly anchored in the everyday life of the church community. ([evangelisch-beuel.de](https://www.evangelisch-beuel.de/))
The larger context is also important: The House of the Community is not a soloist but part of a community that understands itself as a community for Beuel. In addition to the House of the Community, this includes the Reconciliation Church in Beuel-Mitte, the Disciples of Christ Church in Beuel-South, and the Nommensen Church in Beuel-East. This structure explains why the website offers so many touchpoints for different search intentions: worship services, seniors, youth, contact, photos, programs, and directions all refer to the same fundamental idea of a close, open, and interconnected community work. The House of the Community is a particularly clear anchor point for Beuel-North in this network. It stands for neighborhood, reliable offerings, and a community house that is visibly used rather than just existing administratively. Those searching for the House of the Community Beuel, House of the Evangelical Church, Community House Bonn, or Evangelical Church Community Beuel will find a place here that very well combines church life, social encounters, and practical orientation. For the search intention of seniors, meeting points, cafés, or community centers, this is particularly important because it shows that a permanent social space exists here. The House of the Community is thus a place of continuity where agreed groups, personal encounters, and volunteer engagement come together.
We celebrated our church wedding here and found the community to be very loving and cheerful. The community house is bright and a lovely place to celebrate. The pastor and the caretaker were very friendly, accommodating, always available, and genuinely interested in our wishes and ideas. Thank you very much!

We found the community to be very loving for our son's baptism. After the service, we were able to celebrate in the community hall. The caretaker was very accommodating and helpful. We could decorate the community hall peacefully a few days before the celebration. The kitchen is functional and fully equipped. The pastor conducted the service beautifully.

My daughter participated in a Christmas nativity play here and it was really beautiful! The very modern interpretation of the nativity play was wonderfully integrated into the Christmas service. We recommend coming early next year to secure good seats!

I just went to the community to look around, sit down, and reflect a bit. When I entered the church, I was very disappointed. I didn't end up in a church but in a carnival society. Everyone looked at me strangely as if I were in the wrong place. I felt like I should be ashamed and that I had lost my way in my own church. A woman approached me and said it was a closed society now and I should leave the church. Sad! This is how it is in a free country with religious freedom. As my grandma said, you can believe in God in your quiet little room with the Bible in hand, and you don’t need to go to church as an institution for that. I will leave the church, and I can believe in God without this institution. The church has nothing to do with the love of God.
