Gallery Andreae | Exhibitions & Opening Hours

The Gallery Andreae in Bonn is a contemporary art gallery with a clear curatorial signature, featuring changing solo and group exhibitions and a location that has established itself as a fixed address for contemporary art in the Rhineland for years. The gallery was previously known as Galerie Judith Andreae and has been operating as Andreae since 2026, with the transition explicitly described as an evolution of a family-run gallery. Today, the venue at Paul-Kemp-Straße 7 in Bonn combines exhibitions, discussions, fair appearances, and a very personal visitor approach. Those searching for Gallery Andreae Bonn, Galerie Judith Andreae Bonn, Gallery Andreae address, or Gallery Andreae opening hours will find not only contact details here but also a vibrant overview of a program that connects painting, photography, sculpture, installation, and other artistic formats. At the time of research, the gallery is also undergoing a renovation phase from April 29 to May 20, 2026; the next exhibition opens on May 21, 2026, and visits are possible by appointment during this time. Current Exhibitions, SALON, and Openings

The strongest search interest around Gallery Andreae revolves around exhibitions, programs, and current dates, and this is where the gallery shows its greatest strength. The official website lists for 2026 the solo exhibition completely fine by Alexander Schulz, accompanied by sculptural works by HYEPAK in the SALON. Shortly thereafter, Tiziana Jill Beck follows with Ostrakon Stories and Max Freund with Freckles, which clearly illustrates the typical range of the house: independent solo shows, parallel presentations in the SALON, and a program that focuses on painterly, drawing, and sculptural positions. The gallery emphasizes not only the thematic diversity but also the rhythm of the program. The website maintains a clear archive of current, ongoing, and past exhibitions, allowing visitors to quickly recognize how densely curated the calendar is in Bonn. For SEO, this is particularly valuable because terms like current exhibition, opening, program 2025, exhibitions Bonn, and Gallery Andreae photos are thematically directly linked. Additionally, the gallery does not see itself as a static space but as a place where new artistic positions regularly meet established names. ([galerie-andreae.de](https://galerie-andreae.de/))

Rausgegangen describes the gallery as a contemporary gallery from Bonn that represents young and established international artists and shows six to eight curated solo and group exhibitions per year. This profile explains why the gallery is also present at fairs and in collaborations with other galleries and institutions. The official site supplements this with news about Art Düsseldorf and Art Cologne: in 2022, the gallery was represented at Art Cologne for the first time, in 2026, participation in Art Düsseldorf was highlighted, and the news page documents current presentations such as Gallery Weekend PopUp or new solo exhibitions. This is an important signal for seekers who are looking not just for an address but for actual program strength. Thus, Gallery Andreae is not just a space with pictures on the wall but an active art venue with regular openings, curated contexts, and a clear positioning in the field of contemporary art. Those searching for Gallery Andreae Bonn exhibition, Galerie Judith Andreae photos, or art gallery Bonn will find here a place where the program is continuously developed. Address, Opening Hours, and Contact in Bonn

For the search intent around address, opening hours, and contact, Gallery Andreae provides very precise information. The gallery is located at Paul-Kemp-Straße 7, 53173 Bonn. According to the official contact page, it is open on Wednesdays from 10 AM to 6 PM, Thursdays and Fridays from 2 PM to 6 PM, and Saturdays from 11 AM to 3 PM. Additionally, visits by appointment are possible, which is particularly sensible for a gallery with changing exhibitions and personal consultation. The contact options are also clearly published: phone, mobile number, and email address are directly available on the website. Also important for visitors is the note that the gallery does not accept unsolicited artistic submissions, neither digitally nor in physical form. This demonstrates a professional, curated working method that focuses on targeted selection rather than open mass applications. For all those specifically searching for Gallery Andreae opening hours, Gallery Andreae address, or Gallery Andreae contact, the official website is thus the most reliable point of contact. ([galerie-andreae.de](https://galerie-andreae.de/))

The visitor logic is also pleasantly straightforward for a Bonn gallery. Those traveling in the area can easily plan a visit to the gallery using the clearly communicated address and come by appointment for an individual meeting. Especially during the current renovation phase, this flexible access is helpful, as the gallery explicitly requests that visits be coordinated in advance. For the organic search context, this is relevant because search queries like Gallery Andreae Bonn, Gallery Andreae Paul-Kemp-Straße 7, or Gallery Andreae Bad Godesberg are often made with a specific intention to visit. The combination of fixed opening hours, appointment options, and direct contact makes the place particularly user-friendly. At the same time, the gallery conveys a curated, calm visitor experience that is much closer to a private art space than to a hectic large institution. Therefore, anyone interested in an exhibition should not only check the opening hours but also arrange an appointment if necessary to optimally coordinate the visit with the ongoing program. From Galerie Judith Andreae to Andreae: History and Development

The history of the gallery is an essential part of its visibility online, as many search queries still contain the former name Galerie Judith Andreae. Historically, the location in Bonn traces back to a development that began before 2012: in an exhibition archive, it states that the gallery moved from its own private premises to the former Bachschule in Bad Godesberg after almost five years of exhibition activity and resumed operations there after a one-year renovation phase with the exhibition Illusion Nature. A later entry regarding the 10th anniversary exhibition in 2022 confirms that the house has been active in this form since 2012. This makes it clear that the gallery did not just emerge newly but has organically grown over the years. For seekers looking for Gallery Judith Andreae Bonn, Gallery Judith Andreae photos, or the history of the gallery, this is an important background: the current appearance of Andreae stands on a stable foundation developed over years. ([galerie-andreae.de](https://galerie-andreae.de/ausstellungen/illusion-natur/?utm_source=openai))

In 2026, this change was officially made visible when the gallery Judith Andreae becomes ANDREAE was communicated. In the news announcement, the gallery describes the step as a new phase of a family-run gallery transitioning to the next generation while emphasizing its strong roots in the Rhineland. It is also explained that the new trademark appearance was developed in close collaboration between mother and daughter and is based on a family history that dates back to the 16th century. For the visitor, this means: the gallery connects tradition and present not only thematically through its exhibitions but also in its identity. This development is particularly relevant for SEO because many users still search for the old brand while the current website already uses Andreae as the visible main brand. Therefore, anyone typing in the terms Gallery Judith Andreae Bonn, Gallery Andreae Bonn, or Gallery Judith Andreae Paul-Kemp-Straße 7 ultimately lands at the same established art address, which is now continued under a new name. Art Profile: Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Installation

Thematically, Gallery Andreae is clearly positioned in the field of contemporary art. According to Rausgegangen, the gallery represents young and established international artists from the fields of painting, drawing, photography, video, sculpture, object, installation, and performance. This range is more than just a list, as it explains why the gallery is suitable for both collectors and art-interested visitors with very different focuses. The official exhibitions repeatedly confirm this profile. For example, in 2026, the gallery will show not only painting but also sculptural works in the SALON, in 2024 photography, sculptural works, and painting were shown, and at Art Cologne 2022, the gallery combined canvas works, photography, wall works, sculptural works, and mirror tile works. Therefore, those searching for Gallery Andreae photos are not only looking for image material but often for an aesthetic environment that intertwines various media and forms of expression. The gallery consistently offers exactly that. ([rausgegangen.de](https://rausgegangen.de/locations/galerie-judith-andreae/?utm_source=openai))

It is also noteworthy how the gallery presents its artists. The current website features not only classic solo exhibitions but also news about artists, fair presentations, pop-up formats, and collaborations. The program shows that Andreae does not present contemporary art in isolation but thinks in networks. Especially the combination of exhibition, salon, fair, and news creates a high thematic density that is valuable for search engines as well as for real visitors. The topic of art in architecture and public space is also mentioned by third sources as part of the profile. This creates the image of a gallery that works beyond the pure white cube and actively expands its position in the art scene. For the thematic keyword logic, this means: terms like contemporary art Bonn, art gallery Bonn, opening Bonn, or salon exhibition are not just generic search terms but genuinely reflect the lived profile of the place. ([rausgegangen.de](https://rausgegangen.de/locations/galerie-judith-andreae/?utm_source=openai))

Photos, Virtual Tours, and On-Site Visits

Those searching for Gallery Andreae photos or image material will find multiple levels of visual information on the website. The exhibition pages feature extensive image series that make the character of the respective presentations visible, and there is also a section for virtual tours linked in the menu. This is particularly helpful for visitors who want to get an impression of the space, the hanging, and the atmosphere in advance. At the same time, the gallery character remains personal and focused on real visits. The mix of digital insights and on-site appointments is therefore a strong feature of the gallery. Anyone wanting to get a picture of Gallery Andreae will not only receive individual photos but also an impression of how carefully the artists' positions are staged. For SEO and user intent, this is important because the term photos here does not just describe a superficial image theme but a genuine interest in spatial effects, exhibition design, and presentation form. ([galerie-andreae.de](https://galerie-andreae.de/))

On-site, the gallery presents itself as a calm, curated art space with clear opening hours, personal contact, and the possibility to arrange visits flexibly. During the current renovation phase, the gallery explicitly requests that appointments be coordinated, which is particularly pleasant for collectors, curators, or art-interested visits. The renaming to Andreae does not change this: the place remains the same art address in Bonn, just with a modern, reduced brand identity. For visitors searching for Gallery Andreae Bonn, Gallery Judith Andreae Bonn, or Gallery Andreae images, the combination of website, opening hours, and contact options is the best starting point. The gallery is particularly suitable for people who want to experience high-quality contemporary art in a personal environment and are looking for not just a list of events but a continuously maintained exhibition dialogue. This is precisely where the charm of this place lies: Gallery Andreae is neither over-staged nor arbitrary but precise, open, and consistently focused on art. Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting the Judith Andreae Gallery as part of the "Cherries on Top" exhibition, and I'm still thrilled. From the moment you step into the space, you can feel the special atmosphere created by the stylish and modern interiors. The works were beautifully presented, and I appreciated the well-thought-out organization that allowed for exploring the exhibits. The variety of artworks on display was remarkable, from impressive paintings to innovative techniques. There was something for everyone. The curators around Katja Andreae did a fantastic job, especially in providing a platform for emerging artists like Lukas Glinkowski. The selected works sparked thought and discussion, leaving a lasting impression on me. A special highlight was the friendly and knowledgeable curators who were always ready to answer questions and provide interesting information about the artists and their works. Drinks and a small dinner, where I could also interact with many artists, added a personal touch to my visit. Overall, my visit was an unforgettable experience that I can warmly recommend to any art enthusiast. The gallery offers an inspiring environment to discover significant young artists and engage with the diverse ideas and perspectives of the artists. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Very nice exhibition with Birgitta Weimer. Challenging for those with smaller living spaces and shallow pockets. Beautiful gallery, clearly emphasizing the art. A bit confusing with the different artists. Would love to come again.
