It's a great bar in the old city of Bonn. I particularly like the great atmosphere, the friendly DJ on Thursdays where they have karaoke and the awesome service. Always crowded on Thursdays for karaoke plus they do not charge any entry fee to sing. Recommended for karaoke lovers who appreciate a nice friendly atmosphere.

I had a bad experience here. I asked the DJ for 2 songs for karaoke, he said they were going at the end of the party because they were bored..? Then a German girl came and asked for a song that nobody liked and he played it 5 minutes later. Then I complained and he said he can put the songs in the order he wants. I even talked to the manager, who gave me no reason and told me that he gave permission to the DJ to decide... and that it is not his fault... of course we left right away because it was not fair what he did. Btw, the DJ told me my song was going to sound at 3am and it was 12am. Just because he didn't want it.

I had a disappointing experience at NYX a couple of weeks ago. After paying the entrance fee and queuing at the bar for 10–20 minutes, I was approached by a bouncer with a large white beard who asked me to step outside. He told me someone had accused me of inappropriate behavior — something I didn’t do. I wasn’t told what exactly I was accused of, wasn’t allowed to respond, and my friends, who were with me the entire time, were ignored when they tried to vouch for me. I was denied re-entry, and no refund was offered. Reading through other reviews, it seems I'm not alone — several non-German guests have reported feeling unwelcome or unfairly treated here. I hope the management reflects on how such situations are handled. Next time, I’ll just go to a pub — no entry fees, better service, and I actually get my beer.

20 mins to get served 4 drinks. The guy who runs the karaoke seems to be the most boring person who doesn't understand what karaoke is meant to be. If it's not a German song you're singing, he expects you to leave.
