I loved this experience. I boarded the Moby Dick in Bonn and went to Linz am Rhein. A couple of hours later I returned onboard the Poseidon. When I was booking the tickets on Bonner Personen Schiffahrt I also booked coffee and cake on the return trip. The views from the boats are spectacular. The staff is kind and very, very fast when serving that many people. The little stories they put on speakers at certain locations are very interesting and informative and just the right length. All in all a very enjoyable experience I'd love to repeat.

The ship ride on RheinPrinzessin is really amazing. We enjoyed the scenic view along with the waters. The ambience and hospitality is very good. Payment with card would be much expected and appreciated rather than cash.

Imagine walking into an opulent hotel in Bonn and then after two pleasant hours walking out into what may be the most picturesque, storybook town on the Rhein - then live that fantasy on the beautiful Rheinprinzessin. Walking aboard, I was astounded by the grand staircase, the upholstered chairs inside and the attentive service. Up on the deck, we enjoyed a great view of the Siebengebirge (7 hills), many castles and the steep banks of the Rhein. After a wonderful day with four perfect hours in Linz am Rhein, we exited the ship, and all passengers seemed to float off the boat while reflecting on how wonderful their day was.

Lovely experience with some limitations for families. We took the boat trip from Bonn to Linz, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The boat was punctual, and the staff was very helpful, especially with assisting us with the stroller. However, one thing that could be improved is the policy about where you can eat if you bring your own food. Currently, you’re only allowed to eat outside on the deck. As I was traveling with a baby who was peacefully sleeping in her stroller, I couldn’t manage to carry her upstairs, especially since it was windy that day. It would have been much more convenient to have the option to eat in the lower seating area. Overall, it’s a great trip, but this small adjustment would make it more family-friendly.
