Tourist friendly station with locker for luggage and shower space. Unfortunately not all the stores inside the station take credit card payment. There are a lot of American-chain restaurants and stores right outside the station.

A slightly more prosperous atmosphere extends around this central station in Bonn for about a kilometre around. The nearby bus station attracts a large number of people. Compared to other cities, it is still not very crowded and you will feel a little more comfortable!

Very nice little train station. Has a retro feel to it. Pretty clean. Unfortunately you have to pay for the toilet 🚽 and that's very annoying (it's like this all over Germany and that's really lame!).

The HauptBahnhof building looks authentic and good. The seating at platforms are not sufficient for the passengers. The platforms are not wide and this causes congestion during weekends. But, the Hauptbahnhof is maintained well and overall is fairly good.

Bonn is a very typical city in Germany, it was the capital when there was the wall. Beethoven was born here and it is the motherland of Haribo. Well cured, green, the Rhein offers a lot to this city. There is a big park and some cemeteries. Pubs and bars are okay, you can find to shop for every like. The station is good looking and the botanic garden is one of the best attractions they have. People say to go to Köln to have fun but I think you can sort a lot of things out of this city as well.
