My husband and I would like to sincerely thank the funeral team of Hebenstreit & Kentrup for the compassionate and dignified farewell they arranged for our mother. It was good and sensible to have taken out a funeral plan in advance for this inevitable moment of grief, allowing us to be in contact with the funeral home beforehand. This way, things could be discussed with a cool and clear head, and when the moment of grief arrived, much was already clear, giving us relatives more space and time to grieve. From the dignified collection of the deceased at the senior center to the farewell at the cemetery, we were very satisfied and completely taken with the team around Werner Kentrup. This helped us a lot in the days of saying goodbye. All our wishes for the funeral arrangements were quietly and discreetly fulfilled, so I sometimes wondered if another conversation with the funeral director was necessary. It wasn’t ... everything was already taken care of. We especially want to thank for the opportunity to say goodbye to our mother in the funeral home's farewell hall at the open casket. I was so scared and respectful before this moment. The Hebenstreit & Kentrup team took away all my fears with their loving preparation. My mother looked "so beautiful" laid out, that one would think she was peacefully sleeping in the casket. The entire context of this farewell moment was so moving for me that even after a few weeks, I still think back on it positively. For this experience alone, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the team. Even though the event was very sad, Hebenstreit & Kentrup made the day of our mother's farewell a beautiful day. Our mother lived to be 95 years old. A blessed age, where the gratitude for such a long life prevails, and where one can and should also be grateful when the moment of farewell in the church and at the cemetery is so beautiful.
