Courage is Good: Creativity Becomes a Shared Stage Power
When masks are created, drums fill the space, and movement becomes the language, a special stage experience begins at the Haus Vielinbusch. The inclusive workshop Courage is Good. Courage by Heart. invites children, teenagers, and young adults between 10 and 21 years old to discover their own forms of expression and think together about a better world.
Masks, Rhythm, and Movement
The artistic work connects music, dance, and visual art. The focus is on mask making, drumming, dancing, and improvisation. From individual ideas, a lively staging develops where body, sound, and material enter into a dialogue. Participants experience how playful impulses can lead to a shared dramaturgy.
An Open Workshop for Future Questions
The central question is: What makes our world better? Health, sustainability, and living together are not discussed abstractly, but experienced through artistic practice. The direction of the workshop emphasizes participation, courage for improvisation, and the creative power of the group. Thus, the theater atmosphere is not only observed but actively shaped.
Art as a Shared Experience Space
Sonja Hellmann and Michael Schlösser guide an interdisciplinary process that connects social issues with sensual stage art. Drum rhythms give actions a pulsating beat, masks transform familiar roles, and improvisation opens spaces for surprising encounters. The result includes a relaxed performance, an exhibition, and a festival.
Inclusive, Barrier-Free, and Communal
The project is designed to be inclusive and barrier-free. The focus is on the joy of creating together: Every idea is given space, every movement can become expression. The calm, open working method creates an atmosphere where young people can try out, listen, and strengthen each other.
Conclusion: Courage Grows When People Share It Together
Courage is Good. Courage by Heart. promises no ready-made theater product off the shelf, but an immediate stage experience of music, dance, visual art, and encounter. Those who want to experience how rhythm, color, and movement create a shared vision will find an inspiring place for creative participation at the Haus Vielinbusch.
