Singing Martin Songs with St. Martin in Bonn
When familiar Martin songs are played, the message of Saint Martin comes to life: Sharing, compassion, and lived community connect people across generations. At the Table of Diversity in Bonn, the association Loss mer singe invites everyone to a reflective and joyful gathering with St. Martin.
Singing and Remembering Together
The focus is on traditional Martin songs and the story of the Saint, whose example still stands for charity and helpfulness today. The communal singing creates a special experience of faith and opens up space for a religious experience characterized by closeness, memory, and a sense of community.
A Gathering at the Table of Diversity
The Table of Diversity is a meeting project of the Church Citizen Foundation Beuel, Johannes Nepomuk. Here, people come together to engage in conversation and experience communal moments. Coffee and a piece of the oversized Weckmann accompany the Martin festival and give the celebration a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Spiritual Tradition with an Open Heart
The Martin celebration connects religious tradition, music, and social interaction. The songs remind of the Christian significance of sharing and make the spirituality of Martin’s Day directly tangible. Families, community members, and all interested parties find here an easy access to prayer, customs, and lived charity.
