Neighborhood Conversation Night Mayor: Bonn discusses living together in the Old Town
When different interests meet in Bonn's Old Town, open conversations and direct encounters are needed. During the Neighborhood Conversation Night Mayor on Friday, November 13, 2026, Achim Kettemer invites you to an open office hour in the council chamber at the City Hall. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, current developments, questions from the neighborhood, and the coexistence of residents, gastronomy, and guests will be addressed.
Direct exchange about life in the Old Town
The event format focuses on dialogue instead of distance. Residents, restaurant owners, and visitors can raise their concerns, ask questions, and bring up topics from everyday life in the Old Town. The conversation atmosphere focuses on concrete challenges and shared solutions.
With experts from the city administration
Achim Kettemer will speak together with Sascha Hessenbruch, head of the Municipal Regulatory Service of the City of Bonn, Ulrich Erken, department head for trade matters and special uses, and Daniela Nohr, deputy head of citizen participation. Together, they will inform about developments in the Old Town and discuss them with the audience.
Event experience with local significance
The Neighborhood Conversation connects citizen participation, municipal information, and personal encounters. The event provides space for different perspectives and creates an immediate conversation situation between the urban society, trade, and administration. Open exchange is therefore the focus of event planning and target group addressing.
Send questions, suggestions, and topics in advance
Questions, suggestions, and conversation topics can be sent in advance via email to the Night Mayor. This way, concerns from the neighborhood receive a concrete platform in the joint conversation.
Conclusion: Participate, listen, and shape Bonn together
The Neighborhood Conversation Night Mayor is aimed at everyone who wants to actively accompany living together in Bonn's Old Town. Visitors can expect a factual, personal exchange with those responsible and involved from the neighborhood. Those who have questions, ideas, or a desire to speak will experience citizen participation directly and live here.
