Your Own Words, Your Own Flow: Rap Workshop with Pájara in Bonn
How does your own voice sound on a beat? In the three-day songwriting and rap workshop with Pájara, young people discover their creativity, develop their own lyrics, and bring thoughts directly into rhythm. This family and youth program combines fun learning, music, and personal expression in a safe environment.
From the First Thought to Your Own Song
Through free writing exercises, personal lyric ideas, rhymes, and small stories emerge. Participants experiment with how language works, how a good flow is created, and how feelings, observations, and perspectives can be transformed into song lyrics. Own lyrics or songs can be brought; musical prior experience is not necessary.
Rhythm, Voice, and Stage Presence
Focus is on rhythm, rhymes, and voice. The group experiments with beats, develops their own expression, and translates lyrics into a performance. Confidence, linguistic security, and the joy of showcasing one's own art grow. The learning experience remains age-appropriate, child-friendly for the recommended target group, and open to different creative approaches.
A Protected Space for Diversity
The workshop is aimed at MINTA and queer youth as well as young adults and creates a safer space to experiment. MINTA stands for girls, intersex, non-binary, transgender, and agender individuals. Respect, safety, and mutual appreciation form the foundation for collaborative work and genuine shared time.
Artist with Diverse Experience
Pájara is a musician, songwriter, and interdisciplinary artist from Madrid, living in Cologne. In her music, she combines rap, pop, and electronic influences and writes in Spanish, German, and English. Additionally, she works as an art therapist and creative coach. Her workshops combine music, language, and creative expression, providing young people space for their own ideas and perspectives.
Dates and Schedule
The workshop takes place as a cohesive three-day project. The first date is Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Additional dates follow on Sunday, October 25, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Monday, October 26, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The venue is GAP in Bonn at Josefstraße 17a.
Conclusion: Your Voice Belongs on the Beat

Those who bring curiosity, creativity, and a desire for rap will experience an inspiring music and learning experience at GAP filled with children's laughter, a sense of community, and plenty of space for their own style.
