Christmas Swing with the Zucchini Sistaz at Pantheon Bonn

On Wednesday, December 16, 2026, the Zucchini Sistaz will transform the Pantheon in Bonn into a sparkling Christmas stage. Their program combines three-part close-harmony singing, swing aesthetics, and charming situational comedy into a festive concert experience with a lot of attention to detail.

When Christmas Songs Sound Like Swing

The three musicians present Christmas songs from around the world with the casual glamor of the 1920s to 1950s. Multi-part singing, double bass, guitar, ukulele, and wind instruments merge into a warm, buoyant sound between jazz, entertainment music, and musical cabaret.

A Total Work of Art with Jingle Bells, Groove, and Humor

For the Zucchini Sistaz, there is more to the stage program than a classic concert performance. Festive green evening gowns, red-and-white knitted instruments, communal nut cracking, mandarin peeling, and the Christmas cookie ABC create a sensual live atmosphere. Even the background noise of the stable in Bethlehem becomes part of the performance.

Colorful Sound from the Zucchini Advent Calendar

Flugelhorn, clarinet, glockenspiel, accordion, ukulele, and trombone expand the orchestration of the trio. Between precise synchronization, charming conducting, and virtuoso stage performance, a detail-loving big band impression is created, which the three musicians produce with remarkable ease.

Experience from Numerous Joint Tours

The Zucchini Sistaz founded their formation in 2009 and earned a loyal audience with around 100 performances per year. Joint tours with Götz Alsmann, the SWR Big Band, the Pfister siblings, and Gerburg Jahnke underline their experience in concerts, cabaret, and musical entertainment.

Conclusion: Experience Christmas Differently

The audience can expect a festive concert full of swing, close-harmony singing, surprising sound colors, and winking Christmas moments at the Pantheon Bonn. Those who want to enrich their Advent season with music, humor, and real live atmosphere will experience an evening filled with their own musical magic with the Zucchini Sistaz.
