FUNKyleven brings the funk groove to life
On Friday, November 13, 2026, the Harmonie Bonn transforms into a pulsating funk club. FUNKyleven stands for energetic live music from Bonn, driving rhythms, and an audience atmosphere that jumps directly from the stage to the dance floor.
13 musicians, one common groove
The 13 musicians of FUNKyleven combine energy, rhythm, and movement into an authentic funk experience. The foundation is laid by the powerful funk of James Brown and Maceo Parker. Over this, striking guitar riffs, a powerful bass line, and precise drum and percussion patterns are layered.
Brass sections with razor-sharp accents
Explosive horn sections collide with sparkling keyboards and four-part vocals. The three horn players and the lead guitarist create strong contrasts with captivating solos, while the band drives their arrangements forward with audible joy of playing. Orchestration, synchronization, and stage performance intertwine, giving each classic a fresh, stylistically authentic touch.
Live atmosphere in the Harmonie Bonn
The Harmonie in Bonn-Endenich provides the perfect setting for this concert evening: immediate acoustics, short distances to the stage, and an atmosphere where the sound works directly on the audience. FUNKyleven makes use of this closeness for an evening full of groove, movement, and musical energy.
Conclusion: Funk that moves your legs
Visitors can expect an energetic concert experience with powerful brass, a driving rhythm section, virtuosic solos, and well-known funk classics in newly revitalized arrangements. Those who want to experience authentic funk from Bonn live should mark November 13, 2026, and secure a ticket in time.
