Advent Choral Music at Lukaskirche Bonn
On Sunday, December 13, 2026, the Bach Choir Bonn invites you to a special choir concert at the Lukaskirche. Under the title CHORAL MUSIC in ADVENT for Listening and Singing Along, the evening combines festive choral sounds with a warm invitation to join in familiar Advent carols.
When Voices Bring Advent to Life
From 6 PM, the Bach Choir Bonn fills the church space with Advent choral music. The clear acoustics of the Lukaskirche provide space for warm sound colors, differentiated dynamics, and impressive musical depth. Under the direction of Markus Mostert, a concentrated stage performance is created that conveys spiritual music directly and accessibly.
Listening, Singing Along, Pausing
The concert is aimed at everyone who wishes to experience Advent musically. Besides conscious listening, the focus is on singing together. Thus, the audience transforms from silent listeners to active participants in the musical drama. Choral sounds, church space, and audience mood combine to create a communal concert experience.
