Bonn becomes the stage for the next beatbox peak
On November 21, 2026, the RPZ Bonn transforms into a stage for Germany's most ambitious beatbox duos. At the BEATBOX BATTLE: TAG TEAM OFFICIAL QUALIFICATION, it will be decided which team earns the German qualifying spot for the Beatbox Battle World Championship 2027 in Copenhagen.
Two voices, one beat, maximum precision
In the Tag Team category, each two artists compete together. Eight selected duos from NRW, Berlin, Bavaria, and Baden-Württemberg bring their specially developed routines to Bonn. Each performance lasts about 90 to 120 seconds and requires perfect synchronization, rhythmic control, and an exceptional sense of dynamics.
When the human body becomes an instrument
Beatboxing generates beats, bass lines, and musical effects exclusively with voice, mouth, and breath technique. In the direct battle, technical finesse, musical orchestration, and stage performance come together. The audience experiences an intense live sound that pulsates between deep bass frequencies, rapid patterns, and surprising sound changes.
The road to the world championship
Since 2005, the Beatbox Battle World Championship has been one of the most significant international competitions in the scene. The Bonn qualification leads directly towards the world championship 2027 in Copenhagen. For the participating teams, more is at stake than just a single performance: Each routine becomes a decisive step onto the grand global stage.
The RPZ Bonn as a creative home
The Rock and Pop Center in Bad Godesberg offers the perfect setting for this competition with its event hall. The creative center operated by Das Musiknetzwerk has been promoting emerging artists, concert events, and the regional music scene for years. The live atmosphere at the RPZ connects immediate audience closeness with professional stage energy.

Anyone who wants to experience the future of the beatbox scene should not miss this evening. On November 21, it will be decided in Bonn which tag team will represent Germany at the world championship 2027.
