Patrick Nederkoorn brings German-Dutch madness to the stage

When neighbors, borders, and tax programs suddenly become funny, Patrick Nederkoorn is at the Haus der Springmaus. On November 21, 2026, the Dutch cabaret artist takes his audience on a musical, touching, and punchy journey between Holland, Germany, and the big question: Where is it actually better to live?

Stand-up with border experience and great timing

In his second German-language program The Fleeing Dutchman, Nederkoorn connects personal stories with current topics. Borders, love, flight, family, and taxes provide the material for a laughter experience that examines social differences not with a raised index finger, but with precise timing and charming self-irony.

His humor thrives on observation, interaction, and the art of turning seemingly dry topics into a surprisingly lively comedy scene. Even the German tax program Elster gets more stage presence than some agency employees in real life.

Musical cabaret with charm

The show combines cabaret, stand-up, and music into a varied stage program. Personal experiences meet political and social questions, while composition and piano by Guido van de Meent add an additional musical layer to the evening.

Directed by Ralf Lohr. The collaboration with the Kom(m)ödchen in Düsseldorf ensures a clearly set dramaturgy, pointed transitions, and a stage presence that seamlessly balances fine observation and boisterous laughter.

From Dutch stage star to audience favorite

Patrick Nederkoorn hails from Amsterdam, studied political science, and attended a theater school. In the Netherlands, he played several one-man shows and won the Annie M.G. Schmidt Theater Prize. With his first German-language program The Orange Danger, he was nominated for the Prix Pantheon and won the Comedian Jackpot.

He also established himself in German cabaret with placements at the Franconian Cabaret Prize 2023, the Tuttlinger Krähe 2023, and the Reinheim Satire Lion 2023. He is also known from the SAT.1 show The Best Comedians in Germany.

Conclusion: A humorous journey without border control

Visitors can expect an intelligent comedy evening with musical cabaret, personal stories, and a good dose of the Dutch perspective on German peculiarities. If you're in the mood for pointed social observation, strong audience reactions, and a charming stage journey between cheese, rules, and tax chaos, Patrick Nederkoorn is best experienced live.
