When two Boomer Boys take the stage, no TV quote remains dry
Oliver Kalkofe and Oliver Welke bring their successful live podcast Kalk & Welk to the Brückenforum Bonn on Monday, December 14, 2026. The audience can expect no ordinary stage program, but a witty exchange on media, society, movies, series, and everything that generates conversation between television nostalgia and the present.
Stand-up meets media analysis and cultivated argumentative spirit
Kalk and Welk meet as old friends, series junkies, television makers, and TV critics. Their humor thrives on precise timing, sharp observations, and the visible joy of mutual interaction. When two recognized television experts disagree, a comedic atmosphere arises where even a harmless program note suddenly feels like a major societal event.

The duo's knowledge of movies, TV series, and entertainment shows spans from black-and-white classics to the digital streaming age. The live podcast combines cabaret, media criticism, and spontaneous stage presence. It also evokes audience reactions that range from liberating laughter to approving murmurs and the fleeting thought: I unfortunately know this TV topic as well.
A laughter experience for series fans and television people
Kalk & Welk blend personal conversations with pointed comments on media and social debates. The two appear strong in their opinions, but do not always agree.
